For Baltimore

Delilah~~

Alex and I were currently at his parent's house. There was other family members of his there as well, and I clung to his side, not wanting to talk to people and also not feeling very great.

"Alex! Glad you could make it!" His father said as he appeared from behind the oak front door.

"We probably won't be staying for too long. Delilah isn't feeling too well." Alex said, and he kissed my temple.

"Oh that's okay. Come on in you two." Peter said. We both walked into the warm house and Alex took his jacket off.

"Rian and Zack showed up with Jack not too long ago. They're in the living room if you'd like to go talk to them." Peter said. Alex nodded and grabbed my hand, leading me into the living room. We both sat on the couch across from the other three.

"Hey guys." Jack said.

"Hi." Alex replied.

"Oh, Alex.. Matt called, told us we have to start packing. He said he'll pick us up on the thirty-first so we can get the bus prepared and everything." Rian said.

"Alright. Same for Grim Winter?" Alex asked. Rian nodded and I smiled faintly as my stomach did a backflip at the mention of touring.

"You alright babe? You tensed up.." Alex said.

"I'm fine.. I hope." I said.

"What's wrong?" Jack asked.

"She's not feeling all that great." Alex said. He kissed my forehead and rubbed my back.

"You're not pregnant, are you?" Jack asked.

"No I'm not." I replied with irritation. "That would ruin everything for me."

"And me." Alex said.

"Not you so much... but yeah." I said.

We continued small talk like that for another hour before I couldn't stay any longer. Alex and I bid our goodbyes and left.

"You'll feel better soon, baby. I promise." Alex said as we arrived home.

"I doubt it." I grumbled as I laid on the couch, closing my eyes and trying to fall asleep.

"If you don't get better by the twenty-ninth, I'm taking you to the doctor." Alex said.

"You sound like my mother." I complained.

"I love you, Delilah." Alex said.

"Love you too, Lex." I said as a smile grew. I felt his lips on my cheek and I fell asleep.

"Hurry up, Alex!" I called from the living room. I had my suitcase at my side and I was waiting on Alex.

"I'm coming!" He yelled back.

"That's what she said!" I yelled. He appeared in the living room and flipped me off while he lugged his suitcase behind him.

"What's the first stop. You know?" I asked.

"It's California." Alex replied.

"You're kidding.." I said.

"No I'm not. You still have to face Daulton." Alex said.

"Damnit." I whined. He chuckled.

"We can still visit your mom, as well. You could probably leave your stuff there and we can pick it up when the tour is over." Alex said. I nodded.

"Alright." I said as there was a knock on the door. Alex answered it and both our tour managers walked inside.

"You ready?" Mitch asked.

"Yeah." I said.

"Great. The buses are outside, you just need to put your things in and then go claim a bunk. We picked you two up last, so there might not be any good ones left." Mitch said. Alex and I nodded and followed them outside. Alex locked the house up and pecked my lips before climbing onto his bus. I followed Mitch onto mine and followed him to the bunks. Like he said, there were no good ones left. I chose the only one I could, which was below Sam and across from Matthew. Once thing you'll learn about me, I hate the bottom bunk.

"I'm here! Did anyone miss me!?" I heard Alex ask. I met him in the lounge and smiled.

"No one missed you. We were glad you were gone." I said. His smile faltered and i laughed.

"Kidding, baby. I love you." I said, and he kissed me.

"Did you just exchange an 'i love you'?" Sam asked.

"Maybe." I said. She smiled.

"You guys are cute." She said.

"Are you riding with us, Alex?" Mitch asked.

"Yep. I'm gonna go with Del to Daulton's and we're gonna get her things when we hit California, and we're also going to go see her mom." Alex said.

"Alright. Just know that you both have a concert on the second and third."

"The third.." I trailed off.

"What about the third?" Alex asked.

"That's my birthday." I said.

"Oh.. Alright." He said with a smile.

"We're in California. Go do what you two need to do. We'll be here at the venue, obviously." Mitch said. I nodded and finished tying my black converse. Alex pulled me up off the couch and out the bus door. We found a bus stop and waited about ten minutes for the bus to arrive. I recognized this part of Sacramento, seeing as I had been here before. It wasn't too far from Citrus Heights, which was great. When the bus stopped in front of us, Alex squeezed my hand and led me on the bus. It was about half full, so we found a seat at the back where no one was sitting.

"I'm scared, Alex." I said.

"Don't be." He said.

"Why?"

"Daulton can't hurt you when I'm with you. It's uncanny." He said. I smiled and shook my head before kissing his cheek.

About an hour later, we arrived at our destination, so we quickly got off the bus.

"We just have to walk up the street, if you don't mind walking." I said, looking around the familiar neighborhood.

"Walking is fine with me." Alex said.

"I'll call my mom.. ask her if she can come help us." I said as I pulled my phone out of my pocket. I punched her number in and it rang three times before she answered.

"Hello? Who's this?"

"Hi mom. It's Delilah." I said as Alex and I continued to walk.

"Delilah! How are you, sweetie?" She asked.

"I'm great. I'm in California, heading over to Daulton's." I said.

"Oh, lovely boy he is." She said. That's when I remembered that i never told her we broke up.

"Yeah.. so lovely. Could you be a doll and come over, since I don't have a ride? I'll explain some stuff later." I said.

"Oh. Of course dear. I'll be there in about ten minutes." She said.

"Thanks mom! Love You, bye!" I said. She reciprocated my goodbye and i hung up.

"She'll be here in ten minutes." I said as we stopped in front of the house I didn't want to enter.

"Alright. Let's go then." Alex said, and he gently pushed me towards the house.

"Shouldn't we wait until my mom gets here?" I asked.

"If you need extra support.. sure." Alex said. I nodded and kissed his cheek. So we waited until my mom pulled up. She got out of the car and I released Alex's hand so I could walk over and give her a hug.

"Alright- who's this?" She asked.

"Mom, this is Alex. My boyfriend." I said.

"I thought.. wait what? This man is your boyfriend? What happened to Daulton?" She asked.

"I dumped his ass." I said.

"Why?"

"He cheated on me."

My mom looked at Alex, then at me.

"Okay. so you're getting your things, I reckon?" She asked. I nodded and she rubbed her hands together. Alex grabbed my hand and led the three of us to the door. I knocked and we waited for a few minutes before the door swung open.

"Delilah.." Daulton said, and he tackled me into a hug. I didn't hug back, however, and he released me. I glared at him.

"I'm here for my things, so don't think you're getting lucky. I'm not single, and you're just a piece of shit. Let us in." I said. Daulton glared at Alex before looking back at me.

"Come. In." He said as he clenched his jaw. The three of us walked in and I led them through the oh-so-familiar house to the room we shared. The room where I talked to Sam about Andy. The room where Daulton and I spent nights laying next to each other, talking about anything and everything. I flicked the light on and looked around the room. It was a mess. Clothes were strewn across the floor, all of them Daulton's. Nothing of mine had been touched.

We spent a good hour and a half moving my stuff to my mom's car. There wasn't a lot of stuff. mostly just clothes, and there wasn't a lot of those, either. When we were done, I pulled Alex into a hug.

"Thanks for helping, baby. I love you." I said.

"I love you too, Del." Alex said.

So.. I'm thinking about ending this soon.. I don't know. That would involve a huge time skip, and like four extra chapters. Maybe more. Let me know what you guys think I should do.
