For Baltimore

Delilah~~

After the guys' show, we all headed to their bus for a little celebration. Alex hadn't let go of my hand since we exited the venue. We were currently sat on the couch in their bus, loud music playing. Jack walked by and handed me a glass of whiskey, winking as he did so. Alex pulled his phone out of his pocket and read a text. He didn't reply, just shoved the phone back in his pocket.

"Who was that?" I asked.

"It's no one." He said as he kept looking away from me. I shrugged it off and pulled him up with me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer, making me dance with him. I set the glass Jack had handed me down and I wrapped my arms around Alex's neck and I pressed my lips to his.

"Turn the fuckin' music down!" Matt yelled, and the music was turned off completely. Jack groaned in the distance, then shuffled past us and to his bunk. A few minutes later, I heard the bus door open, so I assumed it was either Zack or Rian, or one of the crew guys. How wrong was I?

"Alex? What the fuck!?" A female voice said. He pulled away from me and turned around. I saw the owner of the voice. Standing there was a beautiful woman, far more beautiful than myself.

"Shit," Alex whispered, "Hey Lisa..."

"Don't 'hey' me. What the hell are you doing?" She asked. I looked at Lisa, then back at Alex before shoving him off of me.

"You have a girlfriend!?" I asked angrily.

"Well.. what happened was-"

"I don't want to fucking know, Alex. I just want to know if she's your girlfriend or not!" I yelled.

"More like friends with benefits. We used to date.." He said awkwardly.

"That's fucking low, Gaskarth!! The fact that you're sleeping with this woman one night, then kissing me the next is... utterly disgusting!" I said as I pushed him back just a little farther.

"We haven't slept together in weeks.." Lisa said.

"That's not the point!" I countered.

"Then what's the point?" Alex asked.

"The point is that you never broke whatever deal you have with her off before doing whatever with me!" I said.

"I haven't been able to talk to her." He said.

"I texted you not even ten minutes ago." Lisa said as she shifted her weight from one foot to the other.

"God!! You're such a fucking liar, Gaskarth!! Don't fucking talk to me!" I said as I pushed past him.

"Excuse me." I said to Lisa, and she moved out of my way so I could leave. I opened the bus door and stepped out, slamming it behind me. Why did things with Alex have to be so difficult?

I stormed over to my own bus and I entered it, slamming that door behind me as well. I ignored everyone's questions about where I was. Instead, I headed to the bathroom just as the tears fell. I closed the door and locked it before turning the shower on. I removed my clothes and stepped in, letting the warm water sooth me as I sobbed uncontrollably.

After about an hour, I heard knocking on the bathroom door, and then Sami's voice come after it.

"You've been in here quite a while, Delilah. You should get out!" She said through the door. When I didn't reply, she kept knocking.

"Delilah!?" She asked. Next thing I knew, the door was open and the shower was turned off. I was wrapped in a towel and pulled out of the bathroom with warm tears still making their way down my face. I was dragged into the back room and Sami wrapped her arms around me.

"Shh. Hey dressed, then you can tell me what happened." She said. I nodded and she handed me some clothes. I quickly got dressed in the sweats and gray hoodie, along with the underwear I was given, of course. After that was done, I let Sami in and she sat down next to me.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Well, I went to go talk to Alex.. and he was doing his set. So he was getting ready to play Remembering Sunday, and he thought he was doing the song alone, so when my part came, I had walked onstage and I sang it.. so after he finished the song, he hugged me.. and I kissed him.

"Afterwords, we headed to their bus and had sorta like a party, I guess. It didn't last long though. This girl named Lisa walked in on us kissing and.. things didn't go down to well." I said.

"What was the deal with Lisa?" Sami asked.

"Oh... their 'more like friends with benefits. We used to date'." I mimicked Alex's voice and shook my head.

"I thought he liked me." I said as I started crying once more. Mitch walked into the room with a blank expression on his face.

"Maybe you should just stop getting involved with guys?" He suggested, making me guess he heard our conversation.

"What are you suggesting? That I go lesbian?" Iasked rather harshly.

"No. Just don't get involved at all." He said.

"Why?"

"Because it's gonna affect how you perform on stage as well as in life. Just don't talk to Alex. This tour is gonna be taking a break for two weeks during the holidays, then it's gonna last from New Year's until April first." Mitch said.

"I guess." I said as I looked at the floor. He put his hand on my knee and kissed my cheek before leaving.

"Alex can go fuck himself." Sami said. I looked at her and smiled slightly.

"Yes he can." Said a new voice. I looked over and saw Andy in the doorway.

"Hey baby." Sami said.

"Hey. How are you?" He asked as he walked over. He pressed a kiss to her lips before looking at me.

"I'm good." Sami said.

"Terrible." I replied. I stood up and left Sami and Andy to be all gushy together. I didn't know where the rest of my band currently was, although I really didn't care. I just wanted to get this night over with.

"Hey Delilah!" Sami called.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"You wanna dye your hair?" She asked as she entered the lounge, Andy on her heels.

"Sure. Do you have any hair dye left?"

"Yep. What color?"

"Black."

"I have black." Andy said.

"Of course you do. Go get it." Sami said. Andy nodded and left the bus.

Two hours later, and my hair was now black and dry. It was well around midnight by the time we finished, but I didn't mind. It distracted me from Alex for a while. I yawned as I admired my hair in the mirror. It was no longer a light purple, and I was happy with it.

"Well, I'm gonna hit the sack." I said. Sami nodded and I left for my bunk.

Notes

So, I noticed that I fucked up Delilah's eye color in chapter ten. In one of the first few chapters I mentioned that they were green, but in chapter ten, I said they were hazel cause I'm a dumbass. They're green. Don't forget that. I can't fix it because my piece of shit kindle won't load that page for some unknown fucking reason. So, enjoy this chapter. :)
