Alex's POV
"Alex, do you love my sister?"

That was not what I was expecting to hear. I was thinking a speech, something like Rian threatening to castrate me again. But not this.

"Yes." I say it because it's true. I've already said it to Ari, it's nothing new, I don't think.

"I think I believe you. But I need you to know a few things, Alex."

"Okay."

"Well, you know Ari's had a hard past. I know you have too. I hope you know what that means. I can't bear to see her in pain again. I need you to promise me that you won't break her heart."

"I won't, Rian. I mean it when I say I love her."

"Okay. Also, I need to know how serious you guys are. I don't need to know.....certain details, but I'm not blind."

"Uhm well.........."

"Alex is my sister still a virgin or not?"

"No." I'm blushing, I know it.

"Okay. And how serious are you? You've been dating for a while now."

"I don't know what you mean, Rian. I've though about us in the future, but I don't know."

"Well, I overheard her on the phone, talking with a friend. Talking about how much she loves you. And well, talking about you two getting married."

"Married? I mean I know it's the next step, but I haven't really thought about proposing yet."

"That's all I needed to know. Thank you, Alex."

"Of course, Rian."

We go back to hang with everyone.

"So, did Rian castrate you or what? I really hope not." Ari whispered in my ear, winking at the last part.

Oh my god. She looks so hot. And she's fucking sitting in my lap. Alex, no. You cannot get a boner right now. Your girlfriend is sitting on your lap, and her brother is in the room!

"Uh no."

"Oh am I making you nervous?" She whispered, kissing down my neck.

This is seriously not good. "Arianna, your brother is two seats down from us on this couch."

She sighs and sits next to me. "Okay, point taken."
