Star Light, Star Bright

The Boy that Fell from the Sky

It seems that this going to be another party where the nineteen year old wouldn’t find someone that he could possibly date or just fuck for the night. He thought that being in college would mean getting a relationship or one night stands. When he was in high school, he had a handful of girlfriends and slept with one of them a handful of times. He’s an attractive guy, and that’s all he really needed in high school. The only reason why his relationships didn’t last is the same reason why he can’t get one right now, his personality. Not a lot of people find his love of comics and space to be a turn on. The only bit of his personality that girls did like was that he loves to play guitar and sing. Besides that, they were only in it for his looks.
A chilly breeze blows which causes the caramel haired teen to put his hands in the pockets of his big Ravens hoodie. He makes a mental note to never come to a party on the beach when it’s in the middle of Fall and night time. If there was a better selection of alcohol then maybe. The only thing at this bonfire party is one brand of beer that the teen doesn’t really like. He’s probably not the only one since the girls that he’s tried hitting on didn’t seem that drunk either. That probably just added to his personality for him going home alone tonight.
Since the teen doesn’t feel like going back home and he doesn’t feel like staying at this boring party any longer, he decides to just walk down the beach. He makes his way down the sandy strip until the group is completely out of sight. In fact, he can barely see the fire now. Wow, he didn’t think that he walked that far down, but apparently, he has. The teen just shrugs to himself. It’s not like it really matters anyway. That just means that he has a longer walk back to his car. Of course he doesn’t really care about that though since the sky is clear and the stars are completely visible. His brown eyes look up at the first star that he saw that night when he got to the beach. It’s sparkling and shining in a way that just seems to mesmerize him. He just knows that it’s his favorite star. He always knows where it is, and he doesn’t feel lonely when he looks at it. It makes him feel like the star is watching over him. The tall teen feels like a child for saying it, but he does it anyway.
“Star light, star bright,
First star I see tonight,
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.”
He closes his eyes and thinks of something to wish for. Normally he would wish for a band that got famous, so he could meet his favorite musicians, but he doesn’t tonight. His mind starts to think of something different this time, and he can’t help but feel like this should be the thing that he wishes for. “I wish that I had someone in my life. I don’t want to be alone anymore. I wish that I had someone here to talk to and maybe cuddle. I want someone that will be here and never leave me.”
When the teen opens his eyes, he notices that his favorite star isn’t there anymore. He face completely falls. Was the star that he loves really a dead star? Did the last of it’s light finally come to Earth? The caramel haired boy can’t believe it. He made a wish to not be alone, and now he’s even more alone. A sigh falls from his lips. He can’t help think that his wish is never going to come true. He’s doomed to never have anyone.
The nineteen year old looks down for a second and then back at the sky. His eyes notice something interesting. It’s a shooting star. Really? It’s like the world is telling him that his last wished sucked, so he needs to make another one. He doesn’t though. Why should he wish on some stupid rock? He doesn’t even remember there being any tonight. Oh well. It’s not like it really matters. He watches the shooting star and then realizes that it almost looks like it’s heading his way. Actually, it really looks like it’s heading his way and fast. The teen gets about fifteen feet away before he goes to the ground and covers his head. He hears the impact and feels the earth beneath him shake. Although, it’s not as much as he thought it would be. In fact, he’s surprised that he’s not injured. He’s not that far away from it.
The teen gets up off the ground and looks behind him. There is a medium sized hole in the ground. He’s goes over to it, expecting to find a small rock or pieces of one that broke on impact. What he wasn’t expecting was what he found. In the hole, he finds a naked teenage boy. He has no idea where he came from, but he might be dead, so the caramel haired boy goes down into the hole to look at the boy.
The first thing that he notices is that he’s breathing. Good. He’s not dead. Then he notices the features of the boy. He has dark brown hair and long eyelashes. His nose is huge, but his face is long, so it looks fine. He’s lanky, and probably almost two inches taller than the nineteen year old. The shorter of the two can’t help but find him attractive. Although he has never dated a boy, he has thought about it before. He just never found one that he was interested in. The mysterious boy looks even cuter when he opens his large brown eyes. The clothed teen didn’t think he could, but he was proved wrong.
The boy that fell from the sky sits up and instantly starts to whimper and wraps his arms around himself. His eyes are wide with fear. His breathing starts to quicken, and it looks like he’s having a panic attack. The nineteen year old has no idea what’s wrong, but then he hears the word “cold” escape the others mouth while tears fall down his cheeks. The shorter one quickly takes off his hoodie and puts it on the other since he wouldn’t move to do it himself. Once it’s on, the shaking teen, puts as much of his body he can into it. The other boy puts the hood up, but the stranger is still shaking and crying. Since the shorter teen now knows how cold it is without his jacket, he figures that he’s still cold, so he tries to get him to stand. He doesn’t.
“I can’t carry you all the way back to my car. If you want to get warm, you’re going to have to walk.”
The lanky teen doesn’t say or look at him, but he does get up. His hands try to stretch the article of clothing as far as it will go as he follows the older of the two to his car. Liquid is still seeping from his eyes, and his body is still shaking all the walk back to the car. When they do get there, the shorter boy opens the car door for him since he doesn’t make any attempts to do it himself. When it is open, he motions for the taller one to get in, which he does. He shuts the door behind him and then opens up the trunk to get the blankets that he grabbed just in case it got too cold at the party. He grabs the material and takes it with him to the drivers seat.
“Here are some blankets,” he tells the other boy when he gives them to him.
The taller one grabs them right after the older teen says this. He puts two of them on his lap and then wraps the third one around him. He’s not shaking as much, and it’s looks like he’s stopped crying. That’s a good thing. The owner of the car turns the vehicle on to get the car warm. This makes the other boys eyes widen, and he starts to freak out.
“Chill,” the caramel haired boy says to try to calm him down. “I just turned the car on. Nothing bad is happening.” The lanky boy calms down from his words. When he’s calm, the other boy starts talking again.
“I’m Alex Gaskarth. What’s your name?”
“Jack. Jack Barakat.” Alex almost doesn’t hear him. His voice is so quiet. Although, that does make perfect sense.
“Well, Jack, I’m going to take you back to my place. Just stay calm. I’m not going to hurt you.”
Alex starts to pull out of the parking space. Jack’s face scrunches up. “How are we moving? Where are the horses?”
“It’s a car. It runs off of gas.”
“I don’t understand.”
“Haven’t you ever been in a car before?”
“I’ve never seen one before.”
Alex raises his eyebrow. Cars are a very common thing. That’s when he remembers that this boy did fall from the sky. “Where are you from?”
“I-I don’t remember. I don’t remember anything. I only remember my name and age.”
“Well, how old are you?”
“Seventeen.”
“Ok, so you’re younger than me. That’s a start. We can figure out everything when we get to my place, ok?”
“Ok.”
Alex doesn’t entirely know what’s going all. All he knows is that a cute boy fell from the sky. He knows that his name is Jack Barakat, that he’s seventeen, and that he had never seen a car before in his life. He doesn’t know where he came from or how he was able to fall from the sky without dying, but he does know that he’s going to find out and help this boy. Maybe, just maybe, his wish really did come true.

Notes

I wasn't going to start a new story soon, but I love the idea that I have for this story, and I have a feeling that this is going to be really long. I hope you guys like it.
