Where was I? I could see a small hospital room, but I was dreaming about being a farmer to giant barnyard animals. I was trying to gather the herd when a gigantic cow stepped on me. BOOM!

I sat up in a panic and instantly winced with pain. I felt like my whole body had been boiled. A doctor quickly walked up to me and asked me very many questions I replied with "yes", "no" and "maybe". He informed me of a guest and asked if I wanted to see them I replied with yes.

I watched as Cindy entered the room with messy hair and swollen eyes.
"Alex!" She shrieked with excitement.
We greeted each other with a long kiss and she explained to me what happened.
"I got struck by lightning?" Cindy nodded in response.
"Isn't that the same chance as winning the lottery? Why couldn't that have happened," I joked.

I stayed there in that same spot for two solid hours just talking to Cindy. It was amazing to just get a chance to talk to her after so long.

I was let our after a week and continued to have the best year of my life. Christmas and New Years passed, along with spring brake. With all of those vacations, I still looked forward to going back to school. The reason was Cindy. She became my everything. I couldn't live without get if I tried.
