ALEX's POV

My last week has consisted of me finding out i have three daughters, finishing a tour, and loosing my fiance to another man. Now, I've been sitting in the hospital waiting area with the only daughter I've had a conversation with.

"What's gonna happen.." Raleigh whispered, I really liked that name it seemed to suit her.

"I don't know Leigh..." i mumbled, i looked at my phone seeing Jack had texted me

Jack: Dude, how's it going?
Me: Well Rae the youngest is at the hospital right now, Raleigh is the only speaking to me. Caroline hates me.
Jack: I'll be right there.

"Jack's coming to sit with us." i told Raleigh, who nodded silently. Lisa came out of the back with tears in her eyes.

"Mom." Raleigh stood up rushing towards her "How is she?"

"Her hole opened back up, they have to do an emergency open heart surgery. they are preping her now. I'll stay here, go home I'll call you when she's out." Lisa said, it seemed almost like a ritual, Raleigh nodded, starting away.

"Lis, I'm gonna take Raleigh and Caroline to my house so they aren't alone. is that alright?" I asked quickly.

"Carol wont go with you, but go ahead and take lei." she said, looking at her phone.

"Ok, call us later if you need anything ok?" I gave her a look.

"Ok, thanks Alex." Lisa smiled a little.

"come on Raleigh." i wrapped an arm around my daughter, walking towards my car. "i'll drive, we're going to my house."

"Ok." Raleigh mumbled. "Alex..."

"Leigh listen, i want you to know i wish your mom had told me she was pregnant, i would have been there for you guys. and I'm so upset I missed my girls growing up. So, if you want when you're ready, feel free to call me dad ok?" i looked at her, starting her.

"ok. I want you to know at the moment I'm not sure how this surgery is going to go. its her third heart surgery." Raleigh looked on the verge of tears.

"hey hey hey. it's fine. Rae is strong, and she'll make it ok?" i gave her a hopeful look, she nodded "Good girl."

"how long am i going to be staying with you?" Raleigh asked as we pulled into my driveway.

"As long as you want. Jack is probably here, so don't mind him, I'll get you some clothes to wear." I told her, getting out of the car, she followed closely behind. We walked in and i heard the TV on.

"Hey Alex! i got your text about coming home so i just came back.i got Chinese!" Jack yelled from the other room. Jack walked into the kitchen where Raleigh and i were standing. "You are.... Which one?"

"Raleigh." she responded, Jack nodded.

"Ok, youre the one that actually likes Alex?"

"i guess so..." raleigh responded, looking around.. she seemed anxious.

"Leigh you alright?" i asked, she took a deep breath nodding yes, then shook her head no.
"Raleigh whats wrong?"

"I forgot my anxiety pills..." she tightened her hands into fists.

"Oh no. Are you ok? why dont you go sit down." i suggested, she went into the living room, sitting on the couch.

"Wow, she is def your kid Lex." Jack said as soon as she was out of earshot.

"Yeah she is." i mumbled, starting water for tea. "if she's my kid she likes tea."

"True true." Jack walked into the livingroom, sitting with Raleigh.

"I could get used to this." i thought to myself, waiting for the water to boil.
