By the end of the first week of the tour, Alex and Kenzie grew close than anyone would have predicted. When the bands got together during rehearsals the two couldn't stand each other, but now they spent most of their days together. It wasn't a perfect relationship, seeing as they would maybe have a couple hours together between busy schedules, but that was tour life in a nut shell.

"You have a busy day today, Kenz," Mason said as he pulled up the day sheet on his laptop, "You have to go to a local college radio station to play an acoustic set. Then you'll have to do a signing after the show tonight. You'll have to miss out on seeing Alex today."

"Damn it," Kenzie punched her seat in the van. She was bummed out on not seeing her now official boyfriend today.

"I'll get in touch with Matt when we get to the venue to see if Alex has an open schedule to tag along," Mason reasoned, "But don't hold your breath."

"I'll go get ready for my busy day then," Kenzie sighed, "If Alex comes by, send him to my dressing room inside."

"Will do," Mason replied before he went back to work.

"Kenzie, you look lovely," Alex complimented his girlfriend as he leaned on the doorframe, "I heard you have a busy day today."

"Yeah I do," Kenzie sighed as she brushed her hair softly, "What's your day going to be like?"

"Not busy," he replied, "I'm going to tag along with you during your radio visit. I won't be at your signing for obvious reasons."

"I know you'll be playing during my signing," Kenzie replied, "But having you with me at the radio station will be nice at least."

"We'll have a day off in two days," Alex said as he walked across the room and draped his arms around her shoulders, "That'll be when we really have some fun and spend the whole day together."

"For sure," Kenzie agreed, "I want to just chill out and hang with you for a change where we don't have to perform later."

"Yeah, it'll be a very nice change," Alex agreed.

Kenzie, Alex, Mason, and Kenzie's guitarist, Jake, and bassist, Alexis, loaded up into the van with their acoustic guitars to make their way over to the college radio station. Mason drove and Jake sat shotgun while Alexis sat in the first row of the backseats and Kenzie and Alex sat in the back row together.

Upon arrival, everyone went into the radio station. Alex hung back with Mason while Kenzie, Jake, and Alexis got set up in the studio. Soon the show started, led with the acoustic set and followed with the interview.

"So Kenzie," the interviewer asked, "What's it like to tour with fellow label mates and the biggest name in the pop-punk scene, All Time Low?"

"It's actually really cool," Kenzie replied, "I've looked up to them as an inspiration and role models in the business. I've actually made friends with the guys."

"It's rumored that you're dating one of the members, is it true and which one," he asked.

"Well it is true that I am dating one of the guys from All Time Low," Kenzie replied, "I'm actually dating Alex and we're pretty serious too."

"Now we'll move onto more serious questions," the interviewer moved to ask Kenzie all about her experiences with music from her roots to what it's like being a solo artist signed to Hopeless Records.
