Sitting on the couch by the window I plugged my headphones into my ipod. Music surrounded me and I started to sing along. My head bobbed back and forth to the beat of drums. I was overswept by the music, it shook my bones.

I played the air guitar and pretended I was in a music and that I was a famous rock star. As the bus rolled along I pretended I was going to see my fans and that the passing scenes were my music video landscapes.

After the song was done my eyes drifted around and I caught Zack staring at me from across the room, which was only about two feet away, and I blushed. I was embarrassed that he had caught me in the act. a giggle erupted within him shaking his whole body and I turned to look out the window, to embarrassed to make eye contact any longer.

"Are you excited about tour?" he asked trying to divert the conversation away from my embarrassment.

The redness in my cheeks started to fade and turned on the tv to distract myself even more before answering Zacks question.

I chewed the inside of my cheek wanting to say the simple answer, which was yes. But what if I trusted them to soon and they ended up hating me? I was taking a leap of faith here.

"We'll find out" I settled for that not wanting to fully answer him.

He gave me a nod and came over and sat on the couch next to me.

"Did anything happen between you and Alex last night?" Zack eyed me curiously

"We played Alex's spiced up version if monopoly" I explained the rules of the game and how it is deigned to get you drunk by the fifth roll.

He laughed at how I explained to him Alex wanted to buy things he already owned and gave money to me anyway to buy it again. I left out the major part where we kissed and stuff ya know stuff I wouldn't want people to know.

"Sounds like you two had a nice night." Zack looked at me curiously again and got up bumping into Jack.

"Wanna go man??!" Jack said jumping back and forth like a little kid hyped up on candy. Let's be honest though, jack is a little kid in a 23 year olds body.

"I'm warning you man I got a mean punch" Zack said wary of Jack, I stood up to separate them but Jack put his hand up to stop me.

"I can handle it" Jack said bending his finger in the come and get it gesture. Zack moved towards him and picked him and threw him on the couch tickling him.

"I give up!I give up!" Jack shouted through fits of laughter kicking the air.

Zack let him go and Jack punched Zack in the arm. Zack glared at him and Jack shrunk back grabbing the remote and started to flip through the channels.

Zack smiled and disappeared into his bunk.

"Don't worry he's harmless" Jack said keeping his eyes focused on the tv and I stood still in the middle of the walkway. "we do this all the time...kind of." he shrugged giving his full attention to the tv now.

I decided I had had enough of human contact and went to the back room for some time alone.

To my dismay Alex was taking a nap on the couch. silently though I sat on the ground and took out my phone scrolling through twitter. Ever since Alex had tweeted me I gained many followers and many questions as to where I came from and how I knew the boys.

I didn't want this much attention so I changed my settings to private and left it at that.

I felt a breathing down my neck and then a kiss planted on my cheek. Alex was leaning over the edge of the couch, wide awake.

"So nice to wake up to you" Alex cooed swinging his feet over the couch and sliding down to sit next to me. He spoke to me as if we were dating. I hope he didn't thinks I after the previous night. I mean he didn't have feelings for me, did he?

"Not so nice hearing your voice disrupt my peace" I frowned elbowing him in the ribs. Half joking, half serious.

Alex exhaled and soon a tension filled the room that was unexplainable. It wasn't awkward but very weird. I knew what was hanging in the air, the white elephant in the room.

"About last night" Alex said shakily scratching the back of his neck. I heaved a sigh and looked at him. I was hoping he would have been to drunk to remember but I guess not. "I want you to know that I um..." His fingers trailed the hem of his shirt and I watched him carefully noticing the way he swallowed and took shallow breathes every so often. I noticed all the tiny quirks he had when he was nervous.

Alex was at a lose for words and was fumbling to form a sentence.

I decided to try and finish his thought. " I know it was out of line right?" I said unsure of exactly what he wanted to say. I let my uncertainty become a question and I sat patiently waiting for him to answer me.

"Wrong" he says and a sudden hunger fills his eyes as he leans in and crashes his lips to mine. I responded quickly, missing the feeling that had overcome us the night before.

We pulled apart both of us breathing heavily, our eyes locked on each other. I thought I had heard footsteps coming our way.

"Um I don't want anyone to walk in on us." I said rolling out from underneath him smoothing out my shirt. This didn't feel right and I didn't think it ever will, us just going on like this. I barely knew him for what he was. Alex was an amazing guy but this was rushing things and I was never one to win a race.


"we can't continue on like this" I blurted out, "I just met you and I'm sure I'm nothing special to you so this has to stop." certainty filled me, I knew this had to stop before it got out of hand. he wasn't falling for me like I thought he probably was. I was just someone new for him to toy with.

Alex whimpered, "but I like you" he argued

"No you dont, you don't know everything about me." this was childish the way we were acting, these games needed to end.

" I know you well enough for me to know I don't want to lose you but if inly being friends is what will keep you here then I will respect that." he says, slightly sad but he seemed to understand this is what I needed to happen. I didn't want to worry wether I had something real with him or that I was just a random hookup.

He gave me a sour look before I got up and opened the door walking out to the main living area. I hadn't noticed we had arrived at our venue or that the bus had stopped until I saw all the crew frantically running around. Time for another concert.

After sometime everything was set up and the fans were being let into the arena. Excited chatter filled the venue and All Time Low did there warmup before running on stage giving a lively performance.

*6 hours later*

The concert was over and we were now at local bar. I made a personal decision not to drink more than two drinks just in case something happened that needed my full focus.

The bar stools green velvet was soft and the wooden bar made a sound everytime someone slammed their glass on the bar.

I sat at the bar drinking a beer surveillancing the bar. Many people mingled and the smell of swear and alcohol was very prominent. I watched the guys playing pool and they all waved at me giant smiles on their faces. they really were nice guys, at times I felt like I just met them but moments like this I feel as if I have known them forever.

I saw that Alex wasn't with them and looked around to find him.

I spotted Alex in the corner talking to somebody. A closer look revealed a tall blonde girl that was wearing a very short skirt and I bralet. She twirled her hair with her fingers and laughed at everything Alex said, Alex obviously enjoyed the attention.

I swallowed the jealousy and downed the rest of my beer. Getting up I marched over to them grabbing Alex by the wrist dragging him to the bathroom.

Walking in I pinned him against the wall and kissed him harshly.

"Don't you ever flirt with anyone else" I said in between kisses.

" I wouldn't dare." He said rotating us so I was pushed against the wall. He deepened the kiss and I couldn't tell if this was the right thing to do or not but in the moment I just didn't give a damn.
