Sometimes love can’t be everything,
and sometimes love is the cause that you leave.

But we all have to remember something,
we all have to love at some point.

So don’t wave it away, or throw it away.

Christmas

Alex laughed when Tigerlily danced and jumped through the snow, trying to catch snowflakes and trying to throw snowballs at him. She couldn’t throw far though. So they never hit him. When she tried for the third time and still couldn’t even throw one at him she teared up and sniffled.
"Oh love, come here" Alex said and picked her up. She rubbed her eyes and Alex picked up some snow and handed it to her. She looked confused but took it in her hands.
"Throw it at me" he teased and she just looked at him. Then she smashed it into his face and giggled, and Alex smiled. She really did love the snow and one thing was sure. Jack had made her love throwing snowballs at him.
"Shall we go in and see what your mama and brothers are doing?" Alex asked.
"No, I wanna play more" she said and pointed towards the snow. Then Alex saw that Rian was standing there. Ready with a snowball in his hand and a grin on his face. Alex put Tigerlily down and she ran over to Rian.
"Rian Rian, I threw a ball at daddy" she said and Rian laughed.
"I saw that, good job" he said and she lit up in a big smile again.
"Hey Tigerlily, you dropped your hat" Alex said and picked it up, and placed it on her head. He knew Max would scold him if he came in and had a cold daughter. Again.
"So how’s Max doing?" Rian asked and looked at Alex.
"She’s getting over it. We have three wonderful kids" Alex said.
"I would probably react the same as her, if I happened to be her… because well… Three kids and not even one of them could be born ‘normally’" Rian said. Alex nodded. Max had taken it pretty hard. She thought she was failure as a woman. She had confessed it once to him and it had taken him quite some time to actually make her feel better.

They both got interrupted when they heard Jack yell inside. He was angry and they both just stared towards the house.
"What the..?" Rian asked, and then they hurried inside. Max was angry and crying, and Jack was looking so annoyed and angry.
"What is going on?" Alex asked.
"He won’t let me do what I want to" Max whined and gestured towards Jack.
"And she won’t let me help, or chill the fuck down for a second" Jack said and gestured towards back.
"So basically you’re mad because he won’t let you work? And you’re pissed of because she won’t chill down and let you?" Alex asked.
"IT’S MY CHRISTMAS DINNER NOT HIS" Max shouted. Rian laughed and Alex shook his head with a smile.
"Jack, you do the table and Max… Go do the dinner" Alex said. Tigerlily came in and she had a big smile on her lips.
"No honey, no snow inside" Max said and looked at her.
"Bur I want to have it in my room" she said and teared up.
"Tigress, snow melts inside. You are right now killing it" Jack said and crouched before her.
"Killing it?" she asked.
"The snow will die if you take it inside" Jack explained. She gasped and hurried outside.
"DON’T DIE SNOW" she shouted.

The twins was lying on a fluffy rug and looking around. Jack was talking with them and amusing them with toys. They both smiled and thought it was funny, and of course reached for the toys.
"It won’t take long before they up walking and running around" Rian said.
"They are three months old, not five" Alex said and looked at him.
"Times flies by you know" Max said and sighed.
"I have trouble enough knowing that Tigerlily is running around and getting bigger" Alex said and looked at her, and then they both laughed.

Tigerlily was throwing herself over the presents that Jack had brought her. It was at least five of them and three of them was big. Alex glared a little at him and Jack shot him a grin. When reached for the last one of Jack’s presents he stopped her.
"Take that one last" he said and she stared at him.
"Why?" she asked.
"You’ll see" he winked.

When she had opened all the others and it was only that one left she looked at Jack. He smiled and handed the big box at her. She opened it and stared inside. But there was nothing there.
"Nothing" she said and looked at him. Jack gasped and placed his hands on his cheeks.
"Oh dear lord, he must have escaped" he said.
"WHAT?" Max and Tigerlily gasped. Alex calmed Max down with a smile.
"You have to go and find him" Jack said and looked at Tigerlily. Her eyes grew wide and she ran around the house looking for something she had no idea what it was. Then you heard her scream in happiness and run back downstairs, and looked at Jack. She threw herself at him and hugged him.
"THANK YOU UNCLE JACK" she screamed and then ran back upstairs.
"What was that?" Max asked.

"It was one really, really… like really big teddybear that’s in her room" Jack winked and Max laughed.
