Tigerlily wouldn’t stop crying, and she had a slight fever. It didn’t matter that Max tried to bath her to get her temperature down, she kept the fever. The hospital said it wasn’t anything serious either and Max was getting really tired. Her head was spinning and she was feeling a bit feverish herself.
"Please Blossom, stop crying" Max begged as she walked around inside the nursery. But she wouldn’t stop.
"Maybe you’re hungry" Max said and put her down in the crib again. She cried in the background and Max hurried downstairs, opened the fridge and took one of the prepared bottles. She placed it in the micro oven and took a deep breath. Her head was still spinning and she felt so tired. The micro beeped and she picked the bottle out. Tigerlily was crying upstairs and Max took another deep breath. But it didn’t help. Just as she walked out from the kitchen her feet seemed to get a life of their own and she saw how the floor came closer and closer to her face, before everything went black.

When she woke up she saw Alex beautiful face next to hers. she jolted up from bed and called out his name, wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.
"ehm… Max, I’m not Alex" Ed said and slowly pushed her away. Suddenly Alex face turned into Ed’s and Max just stared at him.
"I’m here Max" Alex said and she turned around and saw that he was on the other side of the bed. Staring at her with wide eyes.
"I’m so confused right now" she whispered and fell down in bed again, she stared at Alex and he looked at her, both hurt and curious.
"It’s okay, at least you thought it was me" he said.
"I just kissed Ed…" she said.
"Because you thought it was me… Max you have a fever on almost 104" he said.
"I’m sorry" she said and looked at him. He smiled and leaned over and kissed her.
"Why are you home?" she asked.
"Because my tour is over, I now have two weeks at home with you and the little blossom" he said and smiled.
"I totally forgot" she said and looked at him. Then she remembered Tigerlily and jolted up again.
"How is she?" she asked and stared at Alex and Ed.
"She’s okay, she’s sleeping" Alex said. She relaxed and fell back in bed again. Alex stroked back her hair a little.
"Sleep some more" he said and got up.

When Max woke up again she heard the giggles from Tigerlily and Alex, and when she came out to the living room he was sitting there with her standing on his legs. She only had a diaper on and she was having so much fun with Alex trying to kiss her. Then she saw Max and she lit up and pointed at her.
"Hi love" Max said and smiled, and Alex looked at her. She slowly got over and sat down next to him and she looked at Tigerlily. She was shining with happiness. Max leaned her head against Alex shoulder and he leaned his head against hers.
"I’m sorry for kissing Ed" Max said.
"It’s okay… I was next to you and you called out my name. I think I would have done the same if i had such a high fever" he said.
"But still…" she said.
"Don’t worry about it Max" he said and poked Tigerlily on her cheek. She made a bubbling sound and giggled, and they both laughed at her.
"I can’t believe she’s almost half a year old" Alex said.
"Me neither" Max said.
"I’ve been thinking… When we get married… Should we do traditional vows or come up with our own?" he asked.
"I would like our own, because that would mean more… right?" she asked.
"I guess" Alex said and nodded.
"Maybe we should start looking for a date, send out invitations and maybe I should find a dress" Max said and sighed a little.
"I’ve already taken care of the rings though" Alex said and smiled.
"You have?" Max said and looked up at him.
"Yes, they would be done in a few weeks" he said.

Tigerlily was sleeping, and drooling, on Alex chest while he was sleeping on the couch. He looked tired and he had bags under his eyes. Max looked at him and still felt guilty from earlier. Then she heard a knock on the door and Ed said he could open.
"Nah, I’ll open the door" Max said and walked over to the hall. But she regretted not letting Ed open the door because outside waited terror herself. No other than… Brianna.
