Alone

Ed had gone home to spend some time with his boyfriend Jonathan, before Jonathan left for Australia for a few weeks. So Max was sitting on the couch and zapping through the channels. There wasn’t anything fun to watch and she yawned. Alex was not home, Ed was not here and she didn’t really knew anyone else.
"Charlie where are you? Come and talk to me" she joked and laughed a little.
"I’m right here" he said and she let out a shriek. She jolted up from the couch and saw Charlie stand there, looking at her.
"HOW THE FUCK DID YOU COME INSIDE?" she screamed and threw the remote at him. She didn’t exactly want him there. It had only been a joke.
"I used my key" he said with a smile and held up a keychain. She stared at him.
"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE" she yelled and got angry. She threw a pillow at him and he caught it.
"Why? You wanted me to be here" he said with a grin.
"For fuck sake, it was a joke. I don’t want you here" she said and threw another pillow, and he caught it.
"Who’s the tall tattooed man that’s always with you?" he said and frowned a little.
"oh you mean Ed? Why don’t I give him a call immediately" Max said and picked up her phone. Just as she was about to click on Ed’s name Charlie slapped the phone out from her hands and it fell to the floor. The screen broke and showed a blue display. She gasped and stared at him. Without her phone she wouldn’t be able to call for help. She stared at him and he smiled.
"So why don’t you and I go somewhere else?" he whispered, and tried to sound seductively. Max shivered and backed, and Charlie took a few steps towards her. She jolted to the side and hurried out from the living room and she could hear that Charlie came after her. Something crashed to the floor and Max hurried towards the front door.
"COME BACK HERE" Charlie said and lifted her up. She let out a scream and tried to hit him, but it was hard when he held her arms tight to her body.
"LET GO OF ME" she screamed and tried to kick instead. The hat on her head fell to the ground and Charlie stepped on it, destroying it and making Max bit her lip. That was her new favorite hat and he just ruined it.
"LET GO OF ME" she screamed again and this time she managed to kick him right in the crotch. He let out a loud groan and dropped her, causing her to shriek a little. But that didn’t stop her, she jolted up from the floor and hurried towards the front door again. The door was locked and her heart dropped, just as Charlie grabbed her from behind again. She screamed as loud as she could and tried to fight him again, but he almost knocked her out by throwing her around and with her head straight into the wall beside them.

Max let out a cry as Charlie unbuttoned her jeans and she tried to kick and kick, but failed every time. He unbuttoned his jeans as well and pulled down her pants.
"please stop" she cried and tried to struggle even more, but he had a firm grip on her hands and she was still dizzy from her head smashed into the wall earlier. Just as Charlie was ready to push himself inside her the front door was kicked in and Ed stood there.
"I KNEW IT" he yelled and dragged Charlie away from her. After him came two police men and they took care of Charlie as Ed hurried over to Max. She pulled up her pants and cried, and Ed helped her up on her feet.
"Shit, you’re having a really heavy nosebleed and… you’re probably going to have a few bruises in your face" he said.
"How did you know?" she asked and wrapped her arms around him.
"When you didn’t pick up your phone, even after I’ve been calling for six times I knew something was wrong and I called the cops… they came jsut as I got here" he said.

Ed cleaned up her face and frowned when he saw that she would get a black eyes and one really big, nasty bruise on her cheek.
"You might have to call in sick for work" he said.
"Elijah will get so mad" she sighed.
"For you being attacked? Fuck him" Ed said.
"Yeah" she said and laughed a little.
"And Alex… Are you going to tell him?" Ed asked.
"Probably not, he would only worry so much" she sighed. Ed smiled a little and nodded.

Alex was lying in his bunker when he got a text from Ed.

From: Ed
You don’t have to worry about Charlie anymore

From: Alex
What? Did something happen?

From: Ed
Max didn’t want to say anything, but yeah.

From: Alex
She probably think I would worry to much, right?
Well she’s right… but what happened?

And Ed sent back a picture, he had secretly taken, on Max when she finally had fallen asleep. He could see a bruise over her cheek that made his eyes grew wide, and then he saw the black eye.
"What the fuck?" he gasped.

From: Alex
What the fuck did he do?!

From: Ed
Slammed her against the wall, and then tried to rape her.

Alex let out a small growl and kicked in the wall.
"Hey, what’s going on?" Jack asked.
"Charlei attacked Max earlier today, but luckily the police got him" Alex said and tried to calm himself down.
"What?! Is she okay?" Rian asked.
"A few bruises, but that’s it" Alex said.
"Shit, but at least he’s gone now… I guess" Jack said.
"Yeah" Alex said and looked at the picture of Max again. He really did hope that it was the last time they saw him.
