Date with Alex

She looked up from her bowl with cereal. Alex stood there with a smile.
"What?" she asked.
"I’m taking you out on a date today" he said.
"You are?" she smiled and took another spoon with cereal.
"Yes, we’ve been engaged, for real, for 6 months today" he said.
"6 months? Wow, times does fly by" she said and stared at him.
"Yeah, so I thought we could go and do something fun" he said and smiled a little.
"Of course" she smiled.

Max held Alex hand and wondered what he had planned, because he said he had something for them to do. She just didn’t know what.
"Where are we going?" she asked, and he smiled.
"You and I are going to try something I know both of us never have tried before… or at least done together" he said. She stared at him, really confused. What was he planning? He stopped by a small stand with ribbons and saw one really big, red, and bought it. Then he made sure that it was securely placed on her messy bun, and he smiled. Then he took her hand again and rounded the corner and stopped.
"And we’re here" he chuckled. Max just stared and then she laughed. It was a dance studio.
"A dance studio?" she asked.
"You and I are going to learn how to dance today" he teased and kissed the corner of her lips. She laughed and they walked inside.

Alex held out his hand and she placed hers in his, and then he brought her closer. Music was playing and an instructor was telling them, and the other people around them, how to dance. Which steps to take and how the men should lead their women. Alex chuckled from time to time but they both managed to actually do it, and the last hour they danced without getting critics. When the time was over Alex held her hand and said he wanted to take her to one of his favorite restaurants.
"And where is that?" she asked and looked at him.
"there" he said and pointed at a very small, empty restaurant. She walked inside and saw a a very cozy place with leather couches and short asian people behind the desk and in the kitchen.
"Ah Mr Gaskarth" a woman said.
"Table for two" Alex said.

Max came out from the bathroom and looked at Alex. He was sleeping on the bed and looked so peaceful.
"6 months already?" she said to herself and smiled. Time really do fly by when you’re with someone you love. And she did love Alex. A lot.
"Come to bed" Alex whined and yawned. He held out his hands like a kid that reached for his mother, and she giggled. She walked over to the bed and crawled in under the blanket and wrapped her arm around his torso.
"Thank you for today, it was really fun" she said and yawned herself.
"Well we need to be able to dance at the wedding and our first dance together" he said and she could hear a low chuckle.
"That is true" she said and breathed in his scent.
"You really do like to smell me" he teased.
"Well yes, you smell good" she said and pressed her face into his chest.
