Chapter 1
(Jenna's POV)
****** A Week after the crash******
Today was Jack's funeral.The though of it made me upset but I pulled it together and got dressed in this then headed to the funeral home.
******* Skipping to funeral******
I arrived at the funeral home and tears threatened to spill but I held them back.I went in and found Alex.He only showed because he had the day off and Rian and Zack couldn't make it because they were currently living in the UK due to work purposes. I walked over to him and he instantly wrapped his arms around me.I let a single tear fall down my cheek as he did so.
"The coffin is open if you want to see him" The Mortician guy said coming up to me and Alex.
Another tear fell but I went by myself.I silently walked over to the coffin that was black and shiny.Inside was my flawless fiance.
"J-Jack" I choked.
Red roses filled his coffin.Before I knew it I had spent about 20 minutes just staring at him and talking to him.It was time for the funeral to start.Many people said great things about him.Before I knew it it was time for me to talk about him.I walked up to the podeum.I cleared my throat and began to speak.
"Jack,He was many different things to many people.A Son,A Band Mate,A Inspiration to the world and even a soon to be Father." I paused as Tears fell.
"I was the last person to see Jack alive,It KILLED me to see him in pain,To hear his last words and to feel his last kiss.Thank you to everyone who showed up its a really nice thing and it does mean alot to me and others." I finished as I broke down in tears.
All I wanted was someone to spend the rest of my life with and start a family.I guess that was too much to ask.It was time to close the coffin and I wanted to be alone with Jack so everyone waited outside or left.I walked over to his lifeless body turning blue slightly.
"Why did it have to be you?" I asked him as if he would answer back.
"Why couldn't it be me?" I asked myself looking at Jack
.I grabbed his hand that felt like ice.Before I could speak "Our Song" The one Jack wrote me and sang to me before he passed started to play
"I will never let you fall I'll stand up with you forever I'll be there for you through it all Even if saving you sends me to Heaven" I broke down for the third time today and put my lips to his pale icy forehead and kissed it with all the emotions I had left.
"Goodbye Jack" I said shaking uncontrollably and crying before the casket was shut and we all headed outside to watch it get buried into the ground.I joined the others outside.It seems as if Everyone was crying.Finally the coffin was lowered into the ground and dirt covered it leaving me with no reason to live.
