I'm Just a Moment
Part 2/?
We walked out to Hayley’s car.
“Holy shit.” she whispered, putting the key in the ignition.
“I know.” I replied.
“Here, put the address into my phone.” she said, handing me her iPhone.
“Aye, aye, cap’n.” I replied sarcastically and did as she said.
We pulled up to the restaurant. They were waiting in the entryway. I was surprised to see that Alex had brought Lisa and that Rian had brought Cassadee. Me and Hayley simultaneously elbowed each other in the stomach, her warning me to be nice and me warning her not to fangirl.
Hayley was practically in love with Cassadee since she was in Hey Monday. She was always trying to emulate her style of clothing. I, however, thought she was unoriginal. I’d have to hold my tongue throughout this dinner. Just as well, Hayley would have to hold hers.
When we got there, they stood up and Jack put his arm around me, and Zack putting an arm around Hayley. Rian and Alex just walked behind us with their girlfriends, to the table.
Hayley ended up between Zack and Cassadee, Cassadee sat next to Rian, Rian sat next to me with Jack on my other side, Jack sat next to Alex with Lisa on Alex’s other side and Lisa next to Zack.
“What do you think you’re getting?” Jack asked me.
“Probably spaghetti.” I replied.
“Can we buy wine around you guys or would that be rude?” Rian asked.
“Go ahead. As long as Dawn doesn’t have to partake. I’ll drink some I guess.” Hayley replied.
“Sounds good.” Alex nodded.
We ordered food and the guys ordered wine.
“Come on, Hayley. You can have some.” Zack said, dangling the glass under her nose.
“Okay.” she replied, taking a sip from his glass.
“Not bad.” she nodded.
"So, Hayley. Rian tells me you're a little Cassette." Cassadee said to Hayley, referring to the name she gave her fans. Hayley turned bright pink.
"I...um..." she stammered. I'd never seen her speechless before.
"It's okay. I'm not weirded out or anything." Cassadee assured, putting her hand on top of Hayley's. I was holding back my laughter at Hayley trying not to explode.
"Yeah, I am. I loved your performances on The Voice." she smiled.
"Really? Which one was your fave?" Cassadee asked.
"Um, I liked Stupid Boy. I also liked when you did Little Talks with Terry." Hayley replied.
"Oh, so you're a Terry fan?" Cassadee asked.
"Yeah, but I'm glad that you won." Hayley smiled.
I rolled my eyes.

We finished dinner and let the guys paid. We figured it would be easier than arguing with them. We walked out as a group, Zack still with his arm around Hayley and Jack stil with his arm around me.
Jack invited everyone back to his house. Including Hayley and I. Oh my God.
