Maddie had always hated walking home in the dark, but she was with jack now, everything would be ok. Right?

"Hello Maddie" a deep voice echoed down the street.
"What do you want? She stuttered shuffling closer to Jack.
The stranger walks closer when Jack notices that its Alex. His best friend.
"What are you doing Alex?" He says approaching him
"I'm trying to find out why you're 'girlfriend' didn't tell me she was pregnant"
He shot a confused look towards Maddie
"I though you were a virgin?"
"I am" she protested
"No, Maddie Jenner. YOU were my girlfriend in year 12, YOU told me that you had the implant. I got you pregnant, then you got an abortion without even fucking telling me. Then you fucking pack up your stuff and move without a word, a goodbye, a reason why you fucking aborted our child.
"Is, is that true Maddie?" Jack turns to her with teary eyes
"Yes, it is. I was naive Jack."
"I don't fucking care. You told me you were a virgin, give me back that ring."
"I'm sorry Jack." She says placing the ring in his opened palm.
"Sometimes, sorry is not good enough."
