Alex and Lisa have been married for 43 years. They both now live in a retirement home at 74 years old. Lisa has heartbreaking medical problems, but Alex refuses to leave her side. Constant visits from their grandchildren prompts Alex to relieve a summer he had as a teenager through the lyrics he had written in his song book.

So if you haven't guessed yet this is a "The Notebook"/"How I Met Your Mother" inspired story. As I'm currently writing another story at the moment I'm not sure how regularly I'll update, however I love the idea for this story and the updates will be worth it! I'll try my best to keep it constant!
