Ashley POV:

When Alex and I arrived at Noah's house, everyone else was already there. We sat together in the living room and watched Noah open all his presents. Almost everyone had given him booze, because except for Alex and me, nobody really knew him that well. Noah gave everyone a hug and thanked them for the presents. He suggested to walk to the club so no one had to drive and we all agreed. It wasn't that far anyways.

There were a lot of people in the club and the boys had already been recognized by a group of girls. They gave them all an autograph and a picture and after that they were leaving us alone. "I'm going to get us some drinks, Ashley, you coming with me?" Jack asked. "Sure." I followed him to the bar and we ordered beer for the guys and cocktails for me, Cass and Em. "It's good to see you again, Ash." Jack said as we waited for our drinks to be ready. He gave me a hug. "I know it hasn't all been easy these past months, but I'm glad you finally decided to come out of that damn house." he said. I hugged him back and gave him a small smile afterwards. We took all of the drinks with us to where the rest was sitting. Jack sat down next to Emily, giving her a kiss. And I sat down next to Alex, who wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

A couple of drinks later I was getting a little tipsy and I was dancing with Cass, Em and Jack. Jack was showing us his best dance moves and we were all laughing at how weird he could be. Noah came back with some shots of Jack Daniels and handed me one. I smiled at him and drank it. It felt so good. For once in a very long time, the pain was getting less. I finally felt a bit happy again. I took another shot and Jack grinned at me. "That was mine, you know." he said. I just shrugged and walked back towards were Alex and the others were. "Leeeex, come dance with me." I pouted and sat down on his lap. I reached for his beer on the small table but he grabbed it before I could. "I think you have had enough." he said. "Pff, you're boring." I told him and stood up, going to the bar to get myself another drink. I ordered another cocktail and with that I walked back towards Jack. "Lex won't dance with me. Will you dance with me?" His smile got wider and he took my hand. "Let's dance!" He swirled me around the room and laughed because I almost fell. I had so much fun. There was no pain at that moment, only happiness.

The next morning I woke up on the couch. I tried to remember how I got home and why I wasn't in my bed. I had a terrible headache and then I remembered that Zack and Alex had dragged me home because I hadn't been able to stand on my feet anymore. I also remembered vaguely that Alex was mad at me and that's why he hadn't bothered to carry me upstairs with him. That's why I was on the couch probably. My head hurt like hell and I heard someone come down the stairs. "Good morning.." Alex mumbled, he still sounded mad. I wanted to ask him what the fuck his problem was but instead I jumped out of the couch and ran to the toilet. Everything from last night was now in the toilet. I wiped my mouth and flushed the toilet. I walked into the kitchen and took a glass of water and an aspirine for my headache.

"That's what you get when you drink so much." Alex had followed me into the kitchen and now sat down on the counter. "What's your problem actually?" I asked him. "My problem is your behavior." he answered. "Like you're never drunk." I walked back into the living room because I just wanted to lay on the couch. Alex followed me again and sat down in the other couch. "This isn't you, Ashley. I know what you were doing. You were drinking to forget." "Can you please not talk so loud?" I asked annoyed. "You wanted me to have fun and pick my life up again, well, I had fun last night." I said angrily and stood up. "Where are you going?" he asked when he saw me walking to the front door. "Somewhere fun." I said with a cold voice and slammed the door in his face.
