Oh Life
Twenty-one.
Alex POV:
The next day she came home around 5. "Hey, how was the sleepover?" I asked her and wrapped my arms around her waist. "Great." she answered and pulled away when I wanted to kiss her. I let go of her and sighed. "I'm sorry, busy day at work." she apologised. But I knew it wasn't about work. "I made dinner." "I'm not hungry." she told me. "You're pregnant, you're supposed to be very hungry." I answered. She just shrugged and walked out of the room. This wasn't happening. "Ashley!" I said, running after her and grabbing her arm. "Alex, I appreciate the effort, but I'm NOT hungry." she snapped at me. I let go of her arm and she ran upstairs. I decided to leave her alone and went back into the kitchen to eat dinner by myself, although I wasn't hungry anymore either.
"Ashley?" She lay on the bed, crying. "Go away." she mumbled into the sheets. "I don't think so." I said and walked over to the bed. I crawled into the bed and lay next to her, holding her. I didn't ask why she was crying at first, I just let her sob into my chest. "I'm so sorry." she cried after a couple of minutes. "For what?" I asked, stroking her hair. She looked up at me, her eyes big and red but still beautiful. "For acting like a bitch." she sobbed. "Well, I'm not going to deny that you were a little bitch these past few days." I chuckled. "But I want to know why, Ash.." She looked down, staring at the white sheets. "Maybe this isn't a good idea." she mumbled after a while. "What do you mean?" "Having a baby." I could barely hear her whisper. She couldn't be serious, right? We both wanted this, we talked about it. "What are you talking about? Why did you change your mind all of a sudden?" I couldn't believe this, she wanted this as bad as I did. Then the reason of this odd behavior sank in and I got a bit angry. "What did your mother tell you?" I clenched my jaws. She looked up and new tears were filling her eyes. "She got me thinking about this whole thing." she said and I waited for further explanation. "Alex, I can't do this. You're 26 years old and you're in a band. Going on tour and giving concerts is what you do and you can't give that up. I don't want you to give that up. And I know you said that you would take a break, but that doesn't change the fact that whenever you're on tour for weeks, months, I'll be the one who has to take care for our child, without your help. It doesn't matter if we're talking about a 2 year old or an 8 year old, I don't want to do this on my own. I can't do this on my own, okay?" she blurted out and started sobbing again. I took her into my arms and kissed her forehead while I thought about what she'd just said. In some way, she was right and I knew that. "I know that. I know that you're right. I know that I'll have to go on tour sometimes but Ashley.. I will not let you do this on your own. We will raise this child together, our child. I'm not a whole year on tour, you silly. I love you and if we really want this, we can do this. Together. And I really want this, Ash." I whispered against her forehead. She wiped away her tears and looked for my eyes. I answered her look with a smile and hugged her. "We're going to be okay. You know I would never let you down, babe." "I love you, Lex." she whispered in my ear. I pulled away and looked into her brown eyes. A moment later she pressed her lips on mine, her tongue demanding entrance to my mouth. She found my tongue immediately and they played a game of which only they knew the rules.
"You know, I have another interview tomorrow. Does this mean that I can finally tell the whole world about how proud I am to become a daddy?" She smiled at me and stepped out of the bed. "I have a better idea." She said and I watched her walk over to my desk, grabbing my laptop. She sat back down on the bed next to me and I raised my eyebrow at her. "Let's tell them now." She smiled again. "What do you mean?" I asked. "We are going to make a keek right now." I smiled, pulling her closer to me. "That sounds like a great idea." I was incredibly proud and couldn't wait to share the news with my fans. I was curious about their reactions but since I have the best fans in the whole world I knew they were going to be happy for us. I logged into keek and smiled at Ashley. "Ready?" She nodded with a huge smile on her face and I could see she was just as excited as I was.
"Hey Keek!" I started. "It's me, Alex. And this is, as you probably all know, my girlfriend Ashley." Ash waved into the camera. "Hi Keek." she smiled. "So, as you all know, me and the other guys start touring again next month. But I have to tell you that we will take a small break after this tour. But don't worry, during the break we will write some new stuff and we'll be back before you guys know it." I paused for a second. "Now the reason why we take a break.." I smiled at Ashley. "I am very proud to officialy announce that.." "We're expecting a baby!" I said at the same time as Ashley. I pulled her closer to my chest and kissed her hair. "So, now you guys know. See y'all next month!" We both waved and smiled into the camera before I pressed the 'stop' button. I uploaded the video immediately and then put the laptop away. "I love you, Ashley Sparks." I murmured into her ear. "And I love you, Alexander Gaskarth." She curled up into my chest and pulled the sheets over our bodies. I turned the lights off and quickly drifted to sleep.

I'm feeling like a teacher. All my friends are asking me to read their English writing assignments and to correct it haha.+ Sorry if the story is getting boring, but there are still some exciting things coming up, I just try not to rush things :)
