Chapter Fourteen: Be The One My Innocent
Alex’s POV
The kiss only lingers for a few seconds before Jack pulls back and whispers to me.
“You should feel perfect, you’re perfect enough for me. I’ll never let you go despite everything and everyone telling us this is wrong. I’ll always be the one you can trust when you don’t think you can trust anyone in this world. You can have someone to believe in for once and not be on your own anymore. I’ll be there to save you and all I hope is you can confide in me. Stay with me Alex and don’t say a single word, I can protect you, I can make all your hopes and dreams come true. I can make the whole world revolve around you and just you. Let me be the one to hold you when you don’t know where you're going. I’ll be your map, your compass, anything you want. Believe me Alex, believe me and be the one just for me. I care and love you so much.” He tells me, falling for every word while my trail of tears go down my pale face.
“It’s a big decision Jack, but I say yes. Just be careful with me, I’m still that lightweight boy you met weeks ago. I don’t want to be more broken again. Don’t let me go, don’t let me go.” I say as the elders thumbs wipe away my tears.
“I’ll never let you go, not for anyone. Now are you finished eating?”
“Yeah, Jack?” I ask with a question in mind.
“Yes boo?” He responds to me.
“Can you make one of my dreams come true?” I wonder.
“Anything, anything at all.” Jack says, taking the tray off my lap and putting inside the dumbwaiter to go down to the kitchen somewhere in the house.
“Make my parents know that I’m not their plaything, make them know I can’t be thrown around the way I have been. Make them know I’m their son, make them know that they can’t hurt me anymore. I don’t want to live like that anymore!” I yell, getting off the bed and pacing around the room.
“I can make that happen, and I know just the plan.” The man says, large smirk on his face and making me wonder what will happen.

Shortest chapter of the series but whatever. The point is that I got one up and that the next one will be longer.
I'm on winter break now so I'll have time to write but I'm going out of town the 27th-30th so no updates then. Also on Christmas I won't be posting either, I want to spend time with my family that day.
I've been really happy for personal reasons that only a few of my friends know but let's just say this happiness could last a lifetime.
