Princess
Inside the Castle
Arianna's POV
This boy is gonna pay. Walking around like he owns this town, scratching my phone, and thinking he can just say sorry? I'm gonna make his life a living hell. Sighing, I log on to facebook in the lounge of my house, and start a new status.
Hey everybody, new kid in school tomorrow. He's out. Big time. If I were you, I'd avoid. Tall kid with messy blonde hair and British accent. You know what to do.
That should do the trick. No one dares not listen to me, and I keep the balance of what's cool, and what's uncool. It works really well, at least I think. I hear the front door shut, and I scramble to get upstairs, unsure if it's my brother Rian who's home or if it's my dad.
"Arianna?" I hear Rian's voice call, and I go out of my room, relieved.
"Oh hey Ri. Sorry I ran, I thought you were dad for a minute."
"Hey don't worry about it. You know I understand. I don't think he'll be around for a few days, so I wouldn't be too oversensitive right now."
"Thanks bro. You wanna head out to eat?"
"Sure, Ari. Just let me put my drumset away."
Silly Rian, always out somewhere with his drums. I never push him on it, but one day he's gonna have to realize that his music's not worth it.
At least dinner was good. Time to get ready for bed. Per usual, I prop open my window to let in some fresh air as I relax. But tonight, something's different. I hear music, a voice and guitar blending together. I look out, trying to see where it's coming from, because it sounds really good. Not finding anything, I lay down, turn the light off, and let the voice sing me to sleep.
