Princess
Hello, Baltimore
Alex's POV
This town isn't so bad, it's quite a lot like home actually. Baltimore, Maryland. I guess I should probably start thinking of this as home anways. It won't ever be London, but I can live with that. Too many bad memories there.
Moving sucks though. And we're not exactly living in a huge house, but it's enough. That big house next door though, it's practically a palace. And sure enough it holds a princess. I saw a girl come out of there earlier, she was quite beautiful. Hopefully I'll get to know her. We're probably in school together.
Ugh, school. That, I am not looking forward to. I've never been very good at making friends. I guess it has to happen though. At least it's Junior year, and not Senior. That would be the worst. I at least have a year to get to know some people.
I'd better run out to the car and grab my last box. It is the most important, after all. My precious guitar. Not to mention all of the CDs and posters stuffed inside of it. Time to decorate!
A few hours later, and I'm officially moved into my room. I like the smaller room her, it makes my posters look even better. Blink-182, Green Day, and Simple Plan cover my walls. This can definitely be home now.
I run back outside to close up the car. I see my mom left a box in here. Typical. I grab it, shut the door and start jogging back to the house. Unfortunately, I can't quite see and I run into something. A very human something.
"Ugh! What do you think you're doing, loser?! You'd better watch it. You scratched my phone! My baby. You'll pay for that one."
Sitting up off the ground, I see the girl from next door that I thought was a princess. Suddenly, I don't have that desire to know her anymore.
"I'm so sorry!" I apologize hastily.
"Of course you are. And you will be, even more." She spits at me, walking back to her house.
Geeze. Who put a stick up her ass? I didn't do anything on purpose, and I apologized. Oh well, so much for her being my first friend."
I get inside with the box, and take it to my mom's room. She's settled in fairly well.
"Here you go, mom."
"Oh thank you Alex. Just set it down on the bed. What do you think so far?"
"I kind of like it, mom. Although our neighbor doesn't seem to friendly. Anyway, I'm gonna go play and sing for a bit before I go to bed. 'Night mom, love you."
"Glad to hear that you like it Alex. Night honey, I love you too. Don't forget you have school in the morning."
Right, like I'm going to forget school. Oh well, I know she's just looking out for me. Sprinting up the stairs and grabbing my guitar, I'm ready for the night. Hello, Baltimore. I'm Alex Gaskarth.
