(Sam's POV)

"So where am I now?" I ask Jack as he fills me in on everything that had happened.


"At my house, my dad and I are taking care of you." He responds giving a small hint of refuge in his tone.

I did what felt right at the moment and stood up hugging him.My arms wrapped around his lanky body as I whisper into his chest.

"Thank you."

*4 weeks later*

Since that day quite a lot has happened.Considering both my real mother and the step one that my bastard father just married were both dead and my piece of shit father was in jail I had no place to go because I sure as hell wasn't going to live in the house where both my mothers were murdered in.With that I planned on getting a part time job just to get me on my feet and be able to move into a small apartment on the north end.Trust me it was not my choice if it was I would live in a nice home by a park but nope that is all I will be able to afford.Of course since Dr.Barakat took care of me he insisted as did Jack that I stayed in their spare bedroom of their home.I really didn't want to be a burden but before I could speak it was made official.Today was my first day back to school since I was injured.I was less than looking forward to it.Since I had no belongings since my old home was still part of the investigation though everyone knows my father did it.I had to borrow some of Jack's clothes.Luckily I fit into some of his clothes.I choose a black Blink-182 shirt and some black skinnies with black vans.I thanked Jack that day quite a lot.

Jack and I walked into the school doors getting glares from people we didn't even know.I heard everyone whispering amongst themselves about Jack and I.

"So are you two a thing now or something?" One taunted at us.

"I heard she let him fuck her for a place to stay." Another one said.

I let a tear fall from my cheek.That one really hurt.One more person opened their mouth to say something but I heard someone else talk first.

"Just shut the fuck up you guys you don't know what happened ok leave it the fuck alone." Alex snapped at the people making me give him a small grin thanking him for standing up for me.

"Yeah seriously you don't need to know what happened and you all know damn well Sam isn't a whore like every other girl here she is actually a really nice person so before you go saying she let me fuck her so she could stay at my house which isn't true at all I would take a step back and look at yourselves." Jack spat at them protectively wrapping his arm around my midsection

With that we continued our school day receiving glares and comments but I choose to ignore them.I have been through enough shit to last a lifetime.... .
