Summary
Paige is four years old and starting preschool. She hasn't met her father, but she knows everything about him thanks to Audrey. Paige hopes for her fifth birthday that her Daddy will come home to her and her mommy.
Audrey is juggling working at the middle school ful-time, raising Paige all by herself, and missing Alex. Audrey has aged so much in the years since Alex was taken away from. She's scared that she will never see him again.
Lex buried his humanity and soul to protect it from Lisa and her cruelty towards him. He knew he had to do it so he could remain strong. He was going to fight to survive. He had to. He has a wife and a daughter waiting for him at home. He needed to be strong to earn his chance to be free again.
But what will become of the family when the lost husband and father returns home as the shadow of the man he once was?

This series is seriously so good. :O I just read all that you have of it and I seriously love it. I'm sad to see it was never continued, though. :( He was just reunited with them and stopped.
If you ever choose to pick up with it again, I will be here to read. I seriously read it all within 24 hours because I couldn't stop reading all that you had of it. You're seriously an amazing writer, and at the very least, I hope you're keeping up with it in your free time.
I think this story deserves an ending after all the work you put into it. But I can understand losing inspiration. :/ But again, if you ever choose to continue, I will be reading. :) It's been a minute since you last updated, but I have faith you could pick up with it again if you wanted.
But, yeah, just wanted to leave a comment letting you know how much I loved it and how people like me are still stumbling across it. :) I will also be subscribing to it on Mibba as well, in case you preferred posting it on there for some reason. <3
