Chapter 11
*Two days later*
*Zack’s POV*
Today is the day, we can finally take Elizabeth home. I talked to my parents and they said she could stay with us. I wasn’t going to lose my best friend even if she was still mad at me. All the guys agreed that we should be there to take her home, together. I never actually left the hospital but the guys had to. They went to her mom’s house and retrieved some of her stuff. They took it to my house and set it up in the guest room, well now, Elizabeth’s room. When the guys finally got here to the hospital she was pretty much ready to go but we agreed that in celebration of her coming home, we should tell her about our gig.
“Hey, Lizzy?”
The way Jack said it sounded like he was about to give bad news.
“Yeah?”
“Well first off, we got your stuff moved into Zack’s house.”
Shit, she didn’t know yet that she was kicked out of her house, I slapped Jack in the back of the head.
“What?” she asked surprised
“um, yeah,” I chimed in, “your mom got pissed after you ‘stole’ her alcohol so she, uh, told us she doesn’t want you coming back.”
“Well okay then, I guess I’m staying with you then, best friend.”
Did I just hear her right?
“Did I just hear you right?”
“yeah, I mean, you still want to be my best friend, right?”
I didn’t even respond I just pulled her into a hug.
“yeah, yeah, that’s great and all but tell her the other thing Jack.”
Rian sounded uncaring but I knew inside he was beaming.
“oh, right. Second off, Lizzy, we have a gig tonight and wanted to know if you’d come watch us?”
“I would love to. Anything is better than this stupid hospital.” She chuckled
I hope today is good.
*Jack’s POV*
After talking to Lizzy about the gig and having her say yes, I decided to talk to Zack about him asking her out again. I knew he was planning on it tonight but I don’t know if it was the best idea considering she just got out of the hospital.
“Zack, come here.”
I motioned to him
“What’s up?”
“What’s going on with the whole asking Lizzy out thing?”
“I’m not sure yet. I don’t know if I want to do it before the gig or after.”
“Maybe, you shouldn’t do it at all?”
“What do you mean? Why not?”
I could see he was getting upset with me now.
“Because she is just getting out of the hospital and I don’t want her to try anything stupid again.”
“Maybe you’re right but I still want to.”
“Alright, whatever just don’t hurt her.”
“I won’t man, I love her.”
*Zack’s POV*
