I gently pulled into Jack's driveway, cautious of his pain and turned off the ignition. I got out and pulled Jack out of the backseat and carried him up to the front door and knocked with my foot.

"M scared." Jack whimpered into my chest and gripped onto my shirt.

"It's okay, baby. We'll get you fixed up soon." I said quietly as the front door swung open revealing Joyce still in her work uniform.

"What happened?!" She gasped, rushing over to push the hair out of her sons face.

"Um, Mrs. Barakat, I think we should come inside." I said softly, readjusting my grip on Jack.

She nodded quickly and cleared the doorway as I walked in to she could lead me to the couch. I tried to set Jack down on the recliner but he yelped and tightened his grip on me.

"Sorry." I whispered as I sat down gently on the couch and pulled him higher into my lap, cautious about exposing his bottom.

"If I may repeat myself, what on earth happened to my baby?" Joyce gasped, almost scared to touch his blood stained body.

"I... He went to the schools baseball game with his friends Rian ans Zack and I don't know the full story but I'm pretty sure he was assaulted... sexually." I said quietly at the last part.

Joyce had tears in her eyes as her hand flew up to cover her mouth, "I... I can't. Who?"

"I don't know, Ma'am, but we need to get him to the hospital."

Joyce nodded, "I'll take him."

"May I come with?" I asked and she shook her head.

"No, I put my trust in you to watch him," She started. My heart sunk, "You need to leave."

Jack choked out a sob into my chest and shook his head frantically, "Don't leave me!"

I sighed and looked up at his mother with a pleading expression, "Please."

She just stood up and grabbed her keys and stood at the door, "Get in the car."

I nodded and stood up and rushed out to get in her small car, a curled up, crying Jack in my arms.

My phone buzzed in my hand as I was in the waiting room of the hospital. It was Cassadee.

"Hey, Rian is wondering how Jack is doing and if he needs to bring the rags to the hospital." was all it read.

"He's in one of the out patient rooms. I think it'd be best if he just came so we can see how he is when they let us in. And yes, bring the rags. It'd be great evidence." Was my reply.

She texted back saying he's already on his way and I sighed, putting my phone back in my pocket.

My mind wandered to how Jack was feeling. I couldn't begin to imagine how much pain he was in or how terrified he was. All I knew was I was going to kill whoever did this to him.

It was around fifteen minuets later when Rian came bursting through the door, frantically looking around in hopes of finding me. I raised my hand and called out his name to grab his attention.

"Hi Mr. G." Rian said calmly as he sat down next to me on the hard bench. He was holding the plastic bag with the rags he used to clean up Jack with.

"Well whoever did this was stupid enough to not wear a condom." He muttered and I grimaced.

"I'm just so fucking angry cause Jack told me a long time ago that he was a virgin and this... this sick bastard took that away from him in the worst way possible." Rian whispered harshly.

My heart sunk for what seemed like the thousands time that night. At those words, tears welled up in my eyes.

"I just can't believe this." I said shakily.

My head shot up when I heard the door open and close revealing a nurse holding a clip board, "Um, Gaskarth?" She called out and I stood up, pulling Rian with me.

"Hi, Mr. Gaskarth. Jack wishes to see you."

"Thank you. And uh, Rian here has rags he used to clean Jack up with and he thinks it has a lot of his abusers..." I stopped right there and the nurse smiled and nodded, "I see sir. I understand." She said as she took the bag from Rian and led us up to Jack's room.

I quietly opened the door to his room and saw him curled up under a blanket, head half way covered so I could still see tufts of his jet black hair poking through.

Rian walked in behind me and shut the door just as quiet as when we opened it.

"Jacky?" I whispered as I walked up to his bed.

His head poked out form under the blanket and blindly looked around, "Alex?" He croaked out.

"Yes baby, it's me." I said softly as I sat down at the edge of the hard mattress. He slowly turned around and curled himself in my lap, successfully tangling himself in the I.V. he was hooked up in.

His hand bunched up in my hoodie as he yanked on it softly muttering, "off." as I pulled myself from him to take it off.

"Sit up." I demanded so I could help him pull it on over his blue hospital gown before he curled back into me.

"Rian is here too." I muttered into his hair. Jack smiled and stuck his hand out of the blanket to wave before retracting it and stuffing the sleeves to his nose.

"What'd they say?" I asked softly, brushing his hair out of his face. He flinched at the simple touch making my heart shatter as I pulled back my hand and set it on my lap.

"What is there to say? All I feel is pain and embarrassment cause they had to stitch me up." He whimpered.

I looked up to see Rian with anger and sympathy clouding his face.

"Who did this, Jack?" Rian asked.

Jack sighed and shook his head, "Lex, he promised."

My eyes narrowed as I knew exactly who he was talking about, "Neil,' I growled and Jack violently shook his head.

"Then who?" Rian gritted through his teeth.

"J-Jeremy." Jack whispered.

Rian slammed his fist into the wall as he stormed out of the room yelling profanities.
