"No, mom." I said sternly.

"Honey, this is what's best. It'll help you." My mom said soothingly but I just shook my head. I could just feel all the eyes on me.

"Mr. Barakat, Mrs. Vageta is a great teacher and mento-" I cut off my principal before he could finish his sentence.

"No! I am not going to be in a Special Ed class! Just because I'm blind doesn't mean I'm special! I can learn just as fast as everyone else, I just need my 'special' paper so I can read it!" I yelled throwing my arms in the air for esadderation.

My principal sighed and I heard him typing on his computer.

"There is only one teacher here really willing to teach and be your mentor." He said when he finished typing.

"Well who is that?" I asked, crossing my legs.

"Mr. Gaskarth."

So this is the first chapter of my Jalex Student/teacher fic! It's super short, I know. It's only the first chapter. But it felt longer cause I wrote it all on paper. I have so far 3 chapters pre written so they'll be up soon if I get enough feedback c:
