Ashley POV *1 week later*:
“Well hello Baltimore!” Emily cheered. “I still can’t believe this! We are going to spend our summer with All Time Low. Can this get any better?” I smiled at her and took my suitcase out of the car. Rian had given me the key of the apartment last week. He thought it was a great idea and Emily was super excited when I told her what Alex had suggested, so here we are. I opened the door and looked around. The place was very pretty. I left my suitcase standing in the living room and went to check out the other rooms. The bathroom was a lot larger than I’d expected, we had a shower and a bath. There were 2 bedrooms. One with a double bed and another smaller one with a single bed. And then there was the little kitchen. Everything was perfect, it was beautiful. “Wow, this is like my dream apartment!” Emily sighed and fell onto the large couch. “It’s so pretty.” I agreed. “So, what are the plans for today?” she asked. “I think I’m gonna start with unpacking all my stuff. And after that I think I might go for a little run.” “Oh, so you’re leaving me.” She said with a sad face. “That’s right.” I laughed.
Baltimore really hadn’t changed much. It kind of amazed me how well I still knew this city. I decided to ran past my old house. It was still the same, expect for the fact there was another car parked in the driveway than ours. I ran past the soccer pitch, Alex and I came here often after school. It was close to both of our houses, it was almost like in the middle of it. So after a few minutes I ran past Alex’ house. It was exactly how I remembered it. I saw the big tree in his backyard where we used to climb in. When I came home, my mother was always mad because my clothes were dirty. I smiled at the memories and almost bumped into Alex. “Well hello there.” He smiled. “Oh, hey Alex!” Why now? I am sweaty and my hair is a mess. “I was just about to check at the apartment to see if you guys had arrived already, but I forgot my phone.” “Oh. Yeah, we arrived like an hour ago.” “And do you like the place?” he asked. “It’s lovely! Really it’s a very nice apartment.” He smiled. “Good.” There was a silence. “So, I better head back to Emily..” I said awkwardly. “Yeah, you should do that.” I smiled a bit and started running. “Oh hey, Ashley?” I turned. “The boys and I are going out tonight. Any chance you and Emily want to join us?” “Uhm. Sure.. I guess..” A big smile appeared on his face. “Okay, we pick you up at 10.” I nodded and started running again.
