P.O.V Alex.

My heart is pounding in my chest and my palms are sweating, I have to sit down on my bed before I faint. Today is the day. It’s my wedding day. Today Jack Bassam Barakat officially becomes mine for the rest of my life. I’m only 18 but I’m ready for this, I knew from the minute I seen Jack that I wanted this. I knew I wanted him to be mine forever and finally it’s all coming true. We have came through a lot to get here but we are here and in less than an hour everything will be complete and Jack will be my husband. My hair is styled perfectly, thankfully it wants to look good today and I’m in my tuxedo. I feel like I’m about 23 not 18 and it’s a good feeling. I know I’m ready for this.
‘Alex, are you ready to go?’ My mum calls up the stairs to me.
‘Yes.’

P.O.V Jack.

I’m not nervous at all for this, this has been what I wanted from the second I laid eyes on Alex that night in the bar. Alex is my life, he is just everything to me and I can’t wait for this. Today is my wedding. Today Alexander William Gaskarth becomes mine for the rest of my life. I finish of styling my hair (wearing it flatter than usual today so that it is wedding appropriate) and slip into my tuxedo. My best friend Matt is in my living room waiting for me, he is our ring bearer.
‘Jack, are you ready to go?’ Matt calls to me.
‘Yes.’

P.O.V Alex

The sun reflected off the water on the lake and the mansion looked beautiful. Tears welled in my eyes just looking at it, it was a perfect day for a wedding. Jack was inside and I was outside waiting for my cue to start walking in. My mum was giving me away and she stood next to me holding onto my arm and fixing bits of my hair.
‘Mum get off’ I whined smaking her hand away.
‘I just want you to look perfect. Oh I can’t believe my baby boys getting married’ She gushed, tears welling in her eyes.
‘Mum don’t cry! It’s a happy day’ I said pulling her in for a hug.
‘I’m crying cause I’m happy Alex! So happy!’
‘Me too mum, me too’ I whispered into her hair.
‘I love you Lex! You’ll always be my baby’ She declared.
‘I love you too, so much’

‘You ready?’ Rian’s voice asked from behind us. I nodded and smiled at how smart he looked in a tux, Zack was there too, looking just as smart.
‘Well lets go then’ He said giving a nod to someone in the room who started playing the wedding march. My breath hitched in my throat and my heart started racing, my mum rubbed small soothing circles into my back as Rian and Zack opened the doors to reveal the room where friends and family of Jack and I sat. My mum looped her arm through mine and began to walk down the row of seats dragging me with her. Friends and family smiled encouragingly as we walked by. My heart was still racing, until I seen Jack and it practically stopped. He looked beautiful, his tux fitted him perfectly and his hair was a little bit flatter than usual but it really suited him. He was stood at the front of the room, a wide smile plastered across his face and his eyes lit up with joy. I all but ran to meet him. The only thing that stopped me was my mother’s arm holding me back. She smiled at me reassuringly and I walked at a normal pace again, anticipating the moment I would get to Jack. Jacks eyes never left me as I walked towards him, he admired all of me his eyes roaming from my head to my feet.
‘Go get him Lex, I love you’ My mum whispered to me before handing my arm over to Jack who took it proudly in his.
‘Hey’ I whispered shyly as he just smiled widely and took the final few steps to meet the minister. He dropped my arm to take both my hands and turn me to face him. My nerves were completely gone now, the only feeling I had was sheer love for Jack and I knew he loved me too. The minister cleared his throat ready to begin.
‘Ladies and Gentleman, we are gathered here today to celebrate the union of Jack Bassam Barakat and Alexander William Gaskarth in matrimony’ The minister said before moving on to the part of the service I was terrified off.
‘Does anyone here have a good reason why these two should not be joined in matrimony?’ He called out to the guests. My heart rate picked up again and Jack gave my hands a gentle squeeze to calm me down. I looked out at all the guests and saw they were all smiling, slowly my heart rate went back to normal pace.
‘Very well then’ The minister said smiling. ‘We shall continue’
A friend of Jacks called Matt stepped forward bearing our rings in a small wooden box.
‘Do you Jack Bassam Barakat take Alexander William Gaskarth to be your lawfully wedded husband in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer, till death do you part?’ The minister said as Jack Picked up the delicate gold band from the wooden box.
‘I do’ Jack declared proudly taking my hand and slipping the ring onto my finger with a huge smile on his face.
‘Do you Alexander William Gaskarth take Jack Bassam Barakat to be your lawfully wedded husband in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer, till death do you part?’ The minister asked me as I picked up the delicate gold band.
‘I do.’ I declared loudly, sliding the ring onto Jacks finger and watching as his face lit up with sheer delight.
‘I now declare you husband and husband’ Everyone in the room cheered loudly. ‘You may now kiss the groom’
Jack pulled my hands up and rested them on his shoulders before putting his hands on my waist and pulling me closer to him.
‘I love you’ He whispered before pressing his lips to mine passionately. Everyone clapped and cheered and I felt Jack smile against my lips before pulling away. I gently rested my head on his shoulder and kissed the edge of his jaw.
‘I love you too, so much’ I mumbled into his neck.

P.O.V Jack

‘I love you too, so much’ Alex mumbled into my neck. I couldn’t help but smile. Everything had been so perfect, there wasn’t a single problem today and for that I was grateful.
‘Come on guys! Lets go celebrate!’ My best friend Matt yelled pulling me away from Alex.
‘No no’ I whined making grabby hands at Alex. Alex just laughed at how childish I was being and took my hand.
‘I’m never letting you go’ I promised him watching as his face broke into a huge grin and he brought my hand up to his mouth gently kissing the ring on my finger.
‘You’re mine forever Jack Barakat’ He said sincerely as his mum ran up crying and pulled both of us into a hug.

‘I’m so happy for both of you’ she sobbed. ‘It was so perfect’
I just wrapped my arms around both her and Alex and pulled them both close.
‘I love both of you’ I whispered.
‘We love you too’ Alex’s mum said before pulling away and fixing her dress. ‘I’m going to get a drink, I’ll see you two later’ She said as she walked away.
‘So you love my mum do you?’ Alex joked.
‘Loads, anyway come meet my family’ I said as I took his hand and dragged him over to where my Dad and May stood.
‘Dad, I want you to meet Alex’ I said as I approached my family.
‘ALEX!’ May squealed pulling Alex in for a tight hug. ‘You’re my brother in law now!’
‘And you’re my sister in law’ Alex giggled in a very girly way. I pulled him away from May and led him over to my dad.
‘It’s nice to finally meet you Alex’ My dad said smiling to him and shaking his hand.
‘Its nice to meet you two Mr Barakat. I’m so happy you could be here for the wedding’ Alex said.
‘Oh I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. I just wish Jacks mum could have been here, she would have been so proud’ My dad said gently starting to tear up and I pulled him to me for a quick hug.
‘Guys, it’s time for cake!’ May squealed pulling Alex and I over to the cake.

The cake was huge and it looked totally delicious. We both posed for photos as we cut the cake together. Alex picked a bit of cake up and pretended to feed it to me but actually pushed it into my face.
‘You little shit’ I growled wiping the cake off my face and smearing it on his before licking my fingers clean. ‘Yummy’
‘Jack’ Alex whined. I just chuckled and picked up a napkin and wiped the cake off of his face gently before pulling him in for a kiss which was interrupted by Zack coming up and saying we needed to have our first dance. The look on Alex’s face was hilarious, he looked do nervous. I rubbed soothing circles into his back and led him out onto the middle of the floor.
‘I’ll lead’ I assured him, grabbing his hands and placing them around my neck as I grabbed his waist and started to sway back and forth with him before doing a small dance back and forth. I leaned down and placed my nose against his gently.
‘You’ve got better at dancing Mr Barakat’ I whispered to him.
‘Hmm. I like that. Alex Barakat. It sounds right’ He replied smiling.
‘I’m glad. I love you so much husband’
‘I love you far more, husband’ He said surely, leaning up to kiss me gently but passionately. I kissed back and we got lost in each other forgetting there were other people here until Matt came up to me and handed me two suitcases. Alex looked at them questioningly.

‘It’s honey moon time.’
