This Love Was Accidental
Chapter 41
P.O.V Jack
Alex had graduated yesterday and to celebrate we are going out tonight. It's only for dinner and a movie but it's a big step for us because we are staying in Baltimore for the first time. To day I was nervous was a bit of an understatement. Alex had only just graduated so this was still a bit risky but it's better now than never.
I put the finishing touches to my hair and grabbed my leather jacket and left to pick Alex up. The drive to his house was short and I had music blaring the whole way to try and calm my nerves. I didn't really need to be this nervous seeing as Alex wasn't even my student anymore but I just couldn't help it. I pulled up outside Alex's house and turned my music down as to not disturb his neighbours. I could see him up in his bedroom styling his hair as he danced about Infront of the mirror, he was just so cute sometimes. I honked my horn loudly and watched as he jumped like 4ft in the air dropping his hairbrush as he did. I sniggered to myself and watched as he threw me the finger out the window, I returned it and motioned for him to hurry up.
'Youre a dick', Alex greeted me as he stepped into my car.
'You want my dick babe', I retorted. Alex just rolled his eyes and thought of a come back.
'Mm.. Not really. I've had better', he said bursting into fits of laughter. I playfully slapped his knee and started the car, deciding against insulting him right back.
We drove in comfortable silence to the little pizza place I had chose for dinner. Alex's eyes lit up when he seen the pizza place. God, he was so easy to please sometimes and for that I was glad. We made our way inside and were seated at a little private booth, I took Alex's hands in mine and rested them on the table before looking into his eyes.
'You're so beautiful', I muttered watching as Alex blushed and tried to hide his face. 'Dont hide your face, it's cute'
Alex just lifted our hands from the table and kissed mine. People were staring at us but we really couldn't have cared less. The rest of the night continued like that, me and Alex being cute whilst people stared either in awe or in disgust. The movie was particularly funny, we choose to go see a horror movie that wasn't even that scary but Alex was terrified throughout the whole thing. I couldn't help but laugh at him as he hid his face in my chest and jumped every time someone in the movie screamed. It was simply adorable.
We were now in bed after I drove Alex home and he forced me to stay with him because he was scared. He was babbling on about something right now and I wasn't really listening, I was to busy admiring his face.
'Jack?', he asked with a questioning tone.
'Yeah honey.', I replied.
'I wanna get married here', he said matter of factually gesturing around him.
'You wanna get married in your bed room?', I asked confused by his gesturing.
'No silly', he giggled. 'I wanna get married in Baltimore. Like in a church or something with lots of people, and flowers and our families and just everything', he rambled on his eyelids getting heavier and heavier.
'Alex baby, we can get married wherever you want. I promise', I promised him.
'I love you so much Jack', he whispered barely awake now.
'I love you more', I whispered back watching as his eyelids fluttered shut and he fell asleep. Gently I pulled him closer to my body and cuddled up to him, closing my eyes and dreaming of our wedding.
