This Love Was Accidental
Chapter 32
P.O.V Alex.
'Alex, you can take the blindfold off now', I heard Jack whisper. I honestly had no clue where we were, all I could hear was the noise of Jack shuffling about and gentle music playing. I reached up to my eyes and pulled the blindfold off, my eyes took a minute to adjust and right there before me was Jack, down on one knee holding a black velvet box with tears In his eyes.
'Alexander William Gaskarth, from the moment I met you I knew that I loved you. You are the better half of me and without you I would be incomplete. I love you more than life itself.', Jack whispered to me as the tears fell down his cheeks. He gently opened the lid of the box to reveal a beautiful gold ring. 'Will you marry me?'
I couldn't believe what was happening right now, Jack was proposing to me? Surely this must be a dream? A really perfect dream. Jacks eyes were on mine as he waited for an answer, the tears still running down his cheeks. I couldn't form an answer, the words just wouldn't come. I wanted to make an amazing speech like the one Jack had made but I couldn't find the words.
'Yes', was the only word that came out my mouth. The tears started streaming down my face. 'Yes, I'll marry you Jack Barakat', I repeated.
Jacks face lit up as he jumped up from being on one knee and walked over to me. He was properly crying know. He took my hand and gently kissed my fingers before sliding the ring onto my index finger where it would remain for the rest of my life.
