This Love Was Accidental
Chapter 31
P.O.V Alex
I was rudely awoken by a knee to my gut. Eugh why does Jack have to be such a restless sleeper? I opened my eyes too see the beautiful man next to me. His mouth was open and occasionally soft snores would escape and the way his usually perfectly styled hair was a mess was just so cute. I honestly adored this man with all my heart.
'Stop staring its creepy, you creep', Jacks sleepy voice groaned.
'Stop being so god damn beautiful then', I replied kissing his forehead.
'Creep', was all he said before rolling over and going back to snoring. I had to hold back a laugh, he was just so charming in the morning. I decided that instead of watching Jack snore all morning I would go for a shower and get ready. I made my way as quietly as I could to the bathroom and stripped out my boxers and jumped under the stream of water.
I had been in the shower for a little over 10 minutes went I felt a pair of long arms wrap round my body.
'Mind if I join you?', the still half asleep voice of Jack whispered in my ear.
'Yeah, get out my shower you creep', I replied with a laugh.
'Well seeing as we are in my apartment this is actually my shower, so I'll do whatever the hell I want', he replied triumphantly. I just flipped him off and began to wash myself ignoring his presense.
'Aww don't be grumpy Lexxy! I have plans for us today!', Jack whined. That caught my interest.
'Oh where are we going?', I asked curiously.
'Youll just need to wait and see', was his reply. 'Now hurry up and get ready!'
*timelapse 4 hours*
P.O.V Jack
We had been driving for nearly an hour now and we were nearly there. We were nearly at the place where I would take the biggest risk of my life. Alex could tell I was nervous but he just thought it was cause I was driving, he thought I was scared to get in another accident. He was gently stroking my leg and whispering words of encouragement to me. This is why I love him. He's just so caring and sweet. Before I got to where I was taking Alex I pulled the car over and pulled a blindfold from my glove compartment.
'Alex, can you put this on please? I don't want you to see anything before you need to', I asked gently my nerves doubling now. Thankfully Alex obliged and put the blindfold on. I drove the last 5 minutes to reach my desired location and parked the car. I took a deep breath to steady my nerves and went round to help Alex out the car. We were at the fare that I had taken Alex to for our very first date, I thought this would be special. I lead Alex to the Ferris Wheel and helped him onto the carriage that I got May decorate. It was perfect, she had laid rose petals everywhere and tied flowers all around the carriage it looked beautiful. Tears started to form in my eyes just looking at it all, the Ferris Wheel began to move and just as planned the operated stopped it right at the top. I took one final deep breathe and hoped this would go well.
'Alex you can take the blindfold off now', I whispered as I sunk down onto one knee and pulled the little black velvet box from my pocket. Alex removed the blindfold and his eyes widened in shock. It was now or never.
'Alexander William Gaskarth, from the moment I met you I knew that I loved you. You are the better half of me and without you I would be incomplete. I love you more than life itself. Will you marry me?'
