This Love Was Accidental
Chapter 23.
P.O.V Alex
Today was my birthday, the day it was finally deemed as legal for me to be dating Jack. It was the day we no longer had to hide our relationship and we were free to show off that we loved eachother. Thats pretty much the only reason I'm glad it's my birthday, other than that it's gonna suck cause my mum is away on business as usual which means I'm left to celebrate on my own. As there is every year there will be a birthday card with some money and that'll be all I will get from my mum. I loved her dearly but she just wasn't here much or was particularly involved in my life but I was used to that. At least I had Jack, I knew he would go out his way to make my day special and so would Rian and Zack. I was thankful for having them in my life, Rian and Zack hadn't shut up about how much I would love their present and to be honest I am so excited to see what it is.
Rian and Zack pulled up outside my house, beeping the horn loudly and probably waking up all my neighbours. I only lived a short wall from school but for seem reason they really wanted to pick me and drive me and I wasn't complaining, it was a lot of effort to walk that short walk when you are as lazy as me.
'Happy birthday!!', both Rian and Zack chimed in unison with big grins on their faces as I got in the car. Why were they so happy?
'Thanks guys', I smiled back. 'Why so excited though?', I asked curiously.
'You'll find out soon enough', Rian said with a sly grin at Zack. Zack just grinned right back and refused to answer anymore of my questions. The drive to school was only short and we got there long before the bell, as I approached my locker I noticed that it had been well...decorated. My entire locker was covered in happy birthday banners and pink balloons. Rian and Zack just stood their laughing their asses off.
'Hilarious guys', I said laughing with them.
'Open it, open it!', they both chanted in unison with huge smiles. I obliged and opened my locker, wondering what the hell was inside. More pink balloons spilled out my locker to reveal an envelope from Zack and Rian and two more parcels which from the writing on the card attached to them, I guessed were from Jack.
'Open Jacks first', Zack commanded and I did. The first parcel from Jack contained a grey beanie and a note from Jack saying 'just cause you look so cute in a beanie X'. I smiled at how cute he is and placed the beanie on my head before opening the second parcel which contained a Green Day shirt and a Jimmy Eat World shirt. I absolutely loved both. In my admiring of the shirts I forgot to read the note attached to this parcel. Rian handed it to me, 'now open the envelope from Zack and Rian, don't cry ;)'. Don't cry? Why would I cry? I was now nervous to open the envelope from Zack and Rian.
'alex, open the god damn thing! I'm getting old here', Zack complained. I carefully opened the envelope and pulled out two rectangular bits of card and read them. I screamed out loud and everyone looked at me as I pulled Rian and Zack into a bear hug.
'I FUCKING LOVE YOU GUYS!', I screamed. Zack and Rian had bought me two tickets for Green Day with Jimmy Eat World as the supporting act. Tears of happiness were streaming down my face as I hugged my two best friends tightly.
'I thought I said don't cry', came Jacks voice from behind me. I let go of Xack and Rian and instaed gripped Jack into a tight hug which he returned, gaining us even more weird looks from fellow students.
'I have one more present for you, but you need to wait for it.', Jack said with an excited smile. 'But for now get to class birthday boy'.
School went quickly. I spent the whole day telling Zack and Rian how much I loved them. I was so happy with all my presents so far and according to Jack I had one more to get. Jack seemed really excited about this present and so was I. Rian and Zack were insisting on driving me home again, they were acting really weird today, all smiley and secretive. It wasn't until we pulled up outside Jacks that I realised something was up, I stepped out the car and suddenly a pair of hands were covering my eyes. I jumped six foot in the air and a small scream escaped my lips.
'shh baby, it's only me', Jacks soft voice whispered in my ear. I instantly relaxed and allowed him to guide me up the steps to his apartment and in the door. Jacks hands never left my eyes and I could hear Zack and Rian whispering away in the background. What the hell was going on? Just then Jack took his hands away from my eyes and there sat in the middle of his living room was the exact guitar I had described to Lisa just a week ago in music. I had seen this electric guitar in a shop window and I knew I needed to have it but I didn't have the money for it and here it was, getting given to me by my perfect boyfriend. My happy tears were streaming down my face again, I couldn't even mange words.
'Do you like it?', Jack whispered into my ear. I still couldn't manage words so instead I showed my gratitude by jumping on Jack and wrapping my legs around his waist and hugging him tightly. His arms instinctively wrapped around my bum to support my weight.
'Ill take that as a yes then?', Jack asked with a chuckle.
'Yes! I love it! I love you!', I exclaimed kissing him on the lips with lots of passion forgetting Zack and Rian were there.
'Ehh, I think that's our cue to leave', Zack laughed awkwardly. Rian just nodded and turned to leave.
'Alex, go show your friends out will you?', Jack asked letting go of me so I could get off him.
'C'mon guys', I chirped leading Rian and Zack out the door.
P.O.V Jack
Alex liked the guitar, well actually I think it was fair to say he loved it. I don't think I've ever seen him look so happy, I wish I could see him like that everyday. I waited until I was sure Alex had left my apartment to quickly run to my room and remove all my clothes, flinging them messily in the wash. I had no idea why I was about to do this, but the idea dawned on me when I remembered Alex saying he wanted me for his birthday. I had picked up some ribbon whilst I was out shopping and I wrapped it around my waist tying the ribbon in a bow big enough to hide my junk but other than that I was completely naked. I could hear Alex making his way up the stairs, please god let him see the funny/ sexy side to this. I lay down on the bed as Alex shouted on me.
'I'm in the bedroom', I shouted back. I could hear Alex start to make his way here.
Well here goes nothing.

This seems to go on forever.. I don't think I like it but its the best I can manage they way I'm feeling :(many thanks to cloud storm though for the idea about green day!
