Drawn To Each Horizon

Nine

Alex POV:
(One month later one day before the wedding)

“Alright guys come on; we have rehearsal in an hour.” Rian was yelling at everyone in the hotel room. We had to go over to the church where the wedding was being held and then we had rehearsal dinner. I looked over at Olivia who had already stepped out in her dress. Not her bridesmaids dress of course, just something nice. I settled with dress pants and a button up shirt. She made sure she looked nice before coming over to my side and taking my hand.

“Jack you need to hurry your ass up!” Rian yelled. Wow this guy had some serious stress problems. Matt, Zack, Rian, myself, and the bridal party were all waiting on Jack. He adjusted his tie in the mirror before stepping out into the hallway.

“Took you long enough,” Zack rolled his eyes.

“Shut up, it takes time to look perfect.” Jack smoothed out his shirt as we walked down the hall. We stopped at the elevators and waited for one to open up. All ten of us fit into the elevator, surprisingly, and we continued to the church. It was about twenty minutes away from the hotel we were staying at but the reception was going to be held a lot closer to the hotel. Rian got a limo to take us there and get us back but tomorrow we would be taking separate cars. I stepped out of the limo with Olivia by my side.

Olivia POV:

“Alright everyone, take your places.” The priest told everyone. Rian walked into the room first and took his place in the front of the church. Zack and Ashley were up first, since she was the maid of honor and Zack was the best man. After they made their way down the aisle, Alex and I locked our arms and walked down the aisle. We took our places and watched as Jack walked down with Sarah. Last but not least were Matt and Lilly. That only left Cassadee. Her dad walked her down the aisle and let her go in front of Rian.

“Okay you guys, that was great.” The priest clapped. “Do you want to try it again?”

“Oh c’mon you guys.” Jack slumped over. “We’ve done this three times already!”

“Yeah I think we’ve got it down.” Matt agreed.

“Can we just do it one more time?” Cass pleaded. “I just want this to be perfect.”

“Guys just do this for her.” I stood up for her. “Sure my feet are getting tired but this is her big day and if she wants to do it one more time, then we’re gonna do it again!”

“Let’s just do this again.” Rian clapped his hands. We walked out of the room like we would when we actually left the ceremony. Cass and Ri walked out arm in arm first, followed by Zack and Ashley and so on.

We did the rehearsal dinner quickly but we saved our speeches for the wedding. I had a pretty kick ass speech going on personally. But then again, who knows how it’ll turn out on the wedding day. Alex walked over to me as we were getting ready to leave.

“Are you staying in my room tonight?” He whispered in my ear.

“Nope, I have to stay with the girls.” I wriggled out of his arms and back towards the limo. He sat next to me and pouted.

“Alright this is the stop for the boys!” Cassadee laughed and looked at Rian.

“I’ll see you on the big day.” He kissed her cheek. “I love you.”

“I love you too.” She smiled. All the boys piled out of the car to leave us girls behind. We sat quietly as some music played softly. Tonight we had our parties. The boys were going to have the bachelor party and we were going to the bachelorette party. I was a bit skeptical about the other girls’ plans. They suggested that we go to a male strip club but I didn’t think that was the best idea. I had to shrug it off though since it was Cass’s party. The limo pulled up to the club and Cass looked confused.

“I thought we were just having a small party at the hotel…” She looked around the area. “Can we just go back to the hotel?”

“Oh no you don’t.” Ashley pulled her out of the limo. “Not until you get the celebratory lap dance.”

“But I don’t wanna,” Cassadee threw herself back onto the seat.

“C’mon honey,” Sarah pushed her out of the car.

“Liv, you won’t let them do it, will you?” Cass looked back at me hopefully.

“I’ll go in and scope it out first,” I started walking towards the building, “But if it’s gross we’re going back to the hotel.” I walked into the club and looked around. It was dimly lit, of course, and there were women scattered all over the place. I looked up at a runway set up in the center of the club along with tables all around the club. There were a few smaller platforms but the one in the center had to be the best. I walked back out to a hopeful looking Cassadee.

“The place looks great.” I smiled at the other girls who were really excited to get Cass a lap dance. Cassadee frowned and let the girls drag her into the club. We found an empty table right next to the stage. This was going to be a long night.
