Drawn To Each Horizon

Alex POV:

Well tomorrow Liv has to go back to work and let me be the first to say that I am not looking forward to it. I love the time we spend together and it’s honestly no fun at all when we’re apart. But hey, maybe we’re just going through that honeymoon phase after the few months that we’ve been together. Everyone says that we’ve been moving a little too fast. I mean, it did take Rian a few years to finally marry Cass and I never popped the question to crazy Lisa and we dated on and off since high school. But I honestly feel like Liv is my soul mate and I can’t help but move fast. I mean, she moved in with me after only a few months of dating.

I sighed and turned to look at her. She lay in the bed, sleeping silently and looking as angelic as ever. I don’t know why she doesn’t see what I do but I honestly wish she could. There are so many things that I would do for her in this world. Matter of fact, I would do anything possible to keep her with me. I went into the closet and picked out a fresh pair of clothes. Well, I shouldn’t get ahead of myself; it was just a new pair of sweats and a shirt.

I strolled back to the bed and admired her once again. Every damn day I still wonder how the hell I ever got so lucky. I thought about my options for a minute. I could: shower and then be ready for the day and take her out, cuddle with her for now and just hang out for the day, or prepare her breakfast in bed. Unfortunately, that option has been done too many times and I honestly think that it’s getting a bit old.

She stirred a bit and her eyes opened slightly, only to close again because of the light. “Good morning Lex.” She cooed at me and held her arms open for a hug. I obliged and waltzed over to my morning beauty.

“Hey baby, how’re you feeling?” I rubbed her back.

“Just fine, how about we go make some coffee and sit out on the porch?” She suggested.

“That sounds absolutely perfect.” I nodded and walked over to the staircase with her hand cupped in my own. We marched into the kitchen in our sweats with the dogs following close behind.

“This is so nice.” Liv mumbled while she was curled up next to me.

“Yeah, it is.” I agreed with her.

“I’m going to miss you when you go off on Spring Fever.”

“It’s not going to be any different than any other tour, I promise you.” I kissed her forehead softly. “But I do have a feeling that this is going to be the best tour yet.”

“Well that’s not going to make me miss you any less.” She knotted her fingers in my shirt.

“But you can always call me when you need a quick pick me up you know.” I laughed slightly. “So there’s nothing to miss really.”

She wrapped her arm around my stomach and tried to pull me even closer to her.

“Well you didn’t cross anything off your bucket list today so I guess we weren’t very productive.” I laughed with Liv as we sat on the back porch to watch the sunset.

“You know what,” she rested her head on my chest, “At least I got to spend it with you.”

“Oh you’re such a sap.” I rolled my eyes.

“Shut up,” she laughed.

“Whatever, let’s go upstairs.” I picked her up into a piggy back style and took her back inside. I turned so she could close the door behind us. She giggled the entire way up the stairs and even when I dropped her onto the bed.

Her arms immediately wrapped around my shoulders and she connected our lips, making me never want to separate from her perfect embrace. I fell onto her body and she allowed the weight, it made us that much closer. Her mouth opened up before my tongue even asked for permission, we were equally eager tonight. Our tongues danced and I reached down to try and push my pants off without separating us from the kiss. I could feel her smirk into the kiss and she pulled apart from me. Her hands were at the hem of my shirt and she pulled it off leisurely, wanting to make me wait just a little bit longer. I leaned over and did the same for her, her lovely frame sat on the bed. I guess she never felt the need to wear a bra today, and I’m not complaining, only hoping she did the same with underwear.

I still stood at the edge of the bed, my waist just slightly above the mattress. She got onto her hands and knees and crouched right in front of me, bottom lip caught in between her teeth. Her hands worked on the strings on my sweatpants, teasing me with light touching on the hem of my pants. I inwardly groaned, the anticipation was going to be the death of me. By the time she got my pants and boxers off, my member was nearly throbbing. Her cool hand wrapped around my member and stroked it, her grasp was mesmerizing. She had a smug smile on her face, she had me right where she wanted me and I would probably do anything for her in this moment just to feel her. She let her bottom lip go and leaned in, the warm breath on my member was driving me insane. Her mouth finally took me in, the damp surroundings bobbing up and down. I reached down and grasped her hair, holding it out of the way but also as something to hold on to. My head was thrown back and I licked my lips. She lifted her head back up and swirled her tongue around my tip, sending shivers down my spine and leaving my mouth agape. She took me back in as far as she could, causing me to grunt and shake. Her head lifted once again but she didn’t do anything special.

“Your turn cowboy,” she winked and lay on her back, massaging her breasts and biting her lip in the sexiest way possible. I wasted no time in taking off her pants; I threw them on the floor and placed kisses all over her bare body. I started at her lips, kissing tenderly to her chest, then her breasts, down to her stomach, and then up and down her gorgeous legs. When I reached her sex I paused for a second, recreating the hot breath on her to give the same effect. I could hear her breath hitch and she shivered in anticipation. My tongue ran over her lips, her eyelids fluttered excitedly. I separated her lips so I had access to her clit, licking quick and short strokes. Her hand reached to the back of my head and she gripped onto my hair. I went back to long strokes as she squirmed under my touch.

“I need you Alex,” she gasped. I nodded and got back up, bringing her body to the edge of the bed. I stood at the end and adjusted myself. Her mouth hung open as I slid in, all of our preparation had paid off. She wrapped her legs around my waist so I could go as deep as I could. My hands held onto her waist so I had something to hang onto. Her hands wandered her body; turning me on even more than I thought was possible. Our breathing deepened and my thrusts started to become sloppy. Liv’s back arched and her toes curled against my lower back.

“Come for me baby.” I managed to choke out under my heavy breathing. She threw her head back into the bed and clasped onto my hands that still grasped her waist. Her moans got louder and louder, pushing me closer and closer to the edge. I leaned my head back and thrusted until I was overwhelmed by that sweet ecstasy. My body fell forward, slumping my shoulders over Liv so I could ride out the high. Our breathing slowed down and I pulled out of her, falling onto the bed next to her. I lay on my stomach and she rested her head on my shoulder and wrapped an arm around my waist.

“I love you Lexy,” She cooed and rubbed my side.

“I love you too.” I rolled over and kissed her cheek softly, pulling her onto my chest so I could just hold her before I left for tour again, her warmth was just so comforting.
