Olivia POV:

Well my boss was gone but after yesterday, I’m not really sure if I can go back into that office. Matter of fact, I don’t even know if I can work in that building. There’s a slight chance that we’ll get moved, but I’m pretty doubtful of that. Maybe I can get a new job?

“So what do you want for breakfast?” Alex pulled me out of my thoughts. We were lying in bed with the TV purring softly. It was already eleven but we were too lazy to get out of bed any earlier for the day.

“I don’t know baby, maybe you should pick it out.” I felt pretty out of it today, hopefully Alex wouldn’t mind my odd behavior.

“Alright,” he nodded and rubbed my back softly. “Are you feeling alright babe?” His tone was concerned, just like it was when I came home from work last night.

“Yeah, yeah, don’t worry about me.” I assured him but he wasn’t buying it.

“Sure, but just tell me if you need anything okay?” I only nodded in response and watched him walk away in his sweats. Baz followed behind him with his tail wagging viciously, sending waves of air behind him.

I just lay in bed and tried not to space out too much. I wandered in and out of watching the show that was on the TV. Something about it was interesting but not enough to keep me fully there. I groaned at the feeling of hunger. The laziness was too much for me to do anything about it so I just lied there and waited for something to happen.

Peyton never left the bed so he was still curled up by my feet. I patted the space next to me and called his name softly. His ears perked up and he crawled next to me only to lie back down and curl up. I leaned onto his back and pet him softly.

I heard Alex come up the stairs, his feet padding softly against the carpet. He entered the doorway and a smile appeared on his face. There was a tray in his hands and on top of it was a plateful of pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes. A giant smile grew on my face and I felt like a kid again.

“I just kind of brought some up without any forks or syrup because… I don’t know. You don’t use syrup or anything so I just bettered them.” He shrugged but made his way over to the bed.

“You know me so well.” I giggled. Once he was seated I placed a small kiss on his cheek and snuggled into his side. Peyton moved because he was tired of being squished between us. We dug into the pancakes with our bare hands, ripping off pieces as we went.

“So what else did you want to do today?” Alex asked at about noon.

“Just hang out here I guess, I wasn’t really planning on doing anything today.” I shrugged.

“Okay well maybe we should get started on a crazy movie marathon then!” He laughed and ran downstairs to look at movies. “Come on!”

I followed him downstairs but nowhere near as fast as he was. Peyton and Baz were in suit with us as we all ran down to the movies. I guess I was in for a day full of cuddling and movie watching. Alex was kneeling in front of the bookcase full of movies and games that he had collected over time. I laughed at his childlike behavior while he pondered about what movie he was going to watch.

“How about we watch… All of the Harry Potter movies!” He laughed when he pulled out his collector’s edition with every Harry Potter movie.

“Sounds like a fun time.” I smiled and headed off towards the kitchen. “I’ll get the popcorn and maybe some candy. What do you feel like?”

“I’m thinking bottle caps definitely, and maybe some jelly beans too.” He put in the first disc and waited for me to come back into the living room. I poured the popcorn into the bowl and felt the warm air come out with it. I smiled to myself as I went around the kitchen, grabbing things as I went. I traipsed back into the living room with my arms full.

“Need some help with that?” He laughed and took some of the food out of my arms. I plopped onto the couch next to him and curled into his side as the movie started to play.
