God, how could one band understand me so well? Between the impactful lyrics, beautiful voice (and body) of Alex Gaskarth, and the wonderful rest of the band, how could I not love All Time Low?
I head over to my keyboard and mess around for awhile, daydreaming about my favorite band. I can just imagine it someday, the boys suddenly showing up at one of my piano recitals, coming up to me afterwards and sweeping me away from this miserable place. "Laura, is it?," I hear them say, "We'd love to have you as part of the band. Come away with us?" Yeah, I know it'll never happen. But, I have nothing left to lose, so why not dream?
Too much thinking. I've gotta go for a walk, get away from here for a little bit. Turning off all the lights, and locking the door to my little shack in the woods behind the school, I set off to clear my head. Although I despise walking through town, because of all the dirty glares I get, sometimes I have to. Hurrying down the sidewalk, I see some boys from my grade. Unpleasant ones. In a rush to get away from them, I ran smack into a pole when I turned around to go. I see stars, and a poster. Hmm, I didn't notice that before. In my dizzy blur, I make out "Pianist wanted." That's enough for me!! I tear off one of the info strips at the bottom, and hurry away from my still-approaching peers.
