I'm Stuck On Loving You
Preface
"I want a change," Skylar said to her long time boyfriend, Alex. He was going to graduate in a week and she'd have one more year left in school.
"What do you mean, Sky," Alex asked her.
"I want to see what else is out there. I don't like the good guy thing," Skylar looked up at him.
"You're dumping me because I treat you right? What the fuck are you on, Sky," Alex asked. He and Skylar grew up together in Towson. She was six and he was seven when he moved here. She was his first friend, first love, first kiss, and his first time. He was the same for her except first friend.
"Alex, focus on your career. You don't need a high school student holding you back anyways," she replied before walking away.
"I'm really stoked to see who's all going to be on Warped Tour this year," Jaime said as he wrapped his arms around his date for the evening and current girlfriend, Skylar.
"I am too. I'll your merch girl for the tour and I'm dying to see what other merch guys I'll bond with," she replied.
"Don't get funny ideas about any of them," Jaime threatened.
"I wouldn't dream of overstepping on what we have, Jaime," she replied.
Jaime was possessive of Skylar. He was quick to anger if another guy tried to flirt with her. If she flirted back, he punished her by hitting her a couple times. Skylar hated how he was, but she was into his bad boy image and loved the sex. So she stayed. Even when she knew what she had with Alex was the best thing she may ever get and she blew her chances at keeping it.
"The headlining band for this year's Warped Tour is," Kevin paused as the four guys walked in, "All Time Low!"
"What the fuck," Skylar was shocked. She'd be working merch for Pierce the Veil on the same tour as her ex high school boyfriend.
"What's wrong, Skylar," Jaime asked her.
"My ex is going to be on the tour," she replied.
"Who," he asked.
"Me," Alex replied as he approached them, "The name's Alex."
"Jaime," Jaime replied as he shook Alex's hand, glaring at him.
"It's good to see you again, Sky. You haven't visited Towson in a while. Your mom says hi and she misses you," Alex said to Skylar before walking over to the bar.
This was going to be a long Warped Tour.
