Alex’s POV

“I said get out!” Jack’s voice echoed.

I’ve never heard him so angry, not towards me anyway. We’d just finished our show and I decided to slip out, and go for a walk maybe.

“Alex, where are you going?” Rian asked.

“Far away” I mumbled, pushing past him.

“Alex come back!” he yelled. “Alex!” he roared, but I ignored him once again.

I stuck my headphones in and listened to ‘Can You Feel My Heart’ by Bring Me The Horizon. Tears started to fall down my face, blurring my vision as I weaved through crowds of people, keeping my head low. I didn’t mean to hurt Jack like this but he could have stopped and listened to me. I’m so sorry Jack, you don’t deserve this, I may as well end the suffering. I walked along the highway as I came to Redstone Bridge. My mind was blank, I had no idea what I was doing. More tears fell as I hoisted myself up on the ledge, my heels sitting on the edge. The wind hit my face, blowing my hair to one side.

“The higher I get, the lower I’ll sink. I can’t drown my demons, they know how to swim” I sang.

“Lex!” a voice yelled.

I turned my head as I saw Jack running up to the bridge. My body was shaking slightly from the cold.

“Lex don’t you dare!” Jack threatened, getting closer.

“I lied to you Jack, I should have told you straight away. I’m a fool, I don’t deserve to be here” I whispered, turning to face Jack.

Jack held his hands out towards me, tears streaming down his face.

“Please Lex, we can sort this out, I love you Alex, I really do. I’m sorry for yelling, please come down” Jack whispered softly, stepping forward.

How would I know that it would be ok? Does he mean it? I looked at Jack, fresh tears falling down my face, along with a pounding in my chest.

“I’m sorry Jack” I whispered, closing my eyes and letting my body fall.

“No!” Jack screamed.

All the noise drained, the wind hitting my ears. I suddenly felt heaviness on my body and opened my eyes. Jack’s arms were wrapped tight around me, my legs hanging free. Why the hell am I doing this? I clutched onto Jack as fear took over and I sobbed hysterically.

“Don’t let go Jack please, don’t let me go!” I cried.

“I won’t let you go Alex” he whispered.

Despite half his body being hung over the ledge, he never let go, he held onto me.

“Jack! Alex!” a voice yelled.

“Zack!” Jack roared.

“Holy shit, Zack hurry up and grab Jack!” Rian exclaimed.

I felt more hands on my clothing as I was pulled up, slipping over the ledge and being placed on the ground.

“Alex!” Jack exclaimed, wrapping his arms around me as he dropped to the ground.

“I’m sorry Jack, I’m sorry” I sobbed, clutching onto his jacket.

Jack placed his hands on my cheeks and tried to sooth me.

“It’s ok Lex, it’s ok, I’m here” he whispered.

I wiped my hand across his cheek, picking up the tears he shed. Jack lent forward and kissed me deeply, tears dripping on my face.

“I love you” he whispered lovingly.

“I love you too” I whispered back.

Jack smiled slightly as he lent forward again and kissed me like he meant it. This is the second time he’s saved me from near death.

*Time lapse three hours*

We stopped off at a petrol station to grab fuel for the bus and some snacks. Jack and I were standing outside the bus talking and laughing away. Jack slipped his arms around my waist and pulled me close as he rested his head in the crook of my neck.

“I’m so glad you’re alright Lex” he whispered.

“Well if it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be here” I replied.

Jack placed a gentle kiss on my neck and I wrapped my arms around his neck.

“I love you so much Alex, more than I can put into words” Jack soothed.

We pulled away and I looked at Jack as I slid a ring off my finger.

“I want you to have this” I issued.

Jack gasped as he shook his head.

“Alex that’s Tom’s ring, I can’t” he answered.

“Jack, he told me to give it to someone special, someone I love dearly and that person is you” I explained.

Jack smiled slightly as I slipped the ring on his finger and rested my hand on his cheek. I nudged my nose against Jack’s and he smirked as he closed his eyes slightly and brushed his lips against mine. I grinned, pressing my lips to his and parting my lips slightly.

“Alright love birds, time to hit the road again!” Rian yelled.

I pouted as Jack and I pulled away and he laughed.

“Hey Alex! Fancy seeing you here!” a voice called.

Jack turned around as he tensed when I saw who it was, it was Austin.

“Jack” I whispered.

He ignored me as he walked to Austin and slammed him down on the ground, throwing a punch at him.

“Jack no!” I yelled.

*Time lapse one hour*

I sat the ice pack on Austin’s jaw and he winced.

“I am so sorry Austin” I whispered.

“It’s ok Alex, I guess you need to be honest with someone you love” he sighed.

We were sitting in the lounge room at his hotel room he was staying in. Rian, Zack and Jack said we would head off early in the morning.

“He didn’t need to act that way” I protested.

“Alex” Austin replied, placing his hand on mine. “I’m fine, I understand” he added.

“Austin, I need to know something” I mused. “Why did you kiss me?” I questioned.

Austin sighed as he looked away and moved the ice pack away from his face.

“I wanted to relive old times, wanted to remember, wanted to see if it was still there. I like you Alex, a lot, I’ve hidden it for years” Austin explained.

I shook my head as I looked down at my hands.

“You’re an idiot Austin, I’m going back to Jack, the one I love with all my heart!” I yelled, heading for the door.

“Alex wait please!” Austin yelled in response.

I walked down the hallway but I felt Austin’s wrist grip mine. He pulled me back as I was pinned against the wall. Austin’s breath rested on my lips and my heart started ti pound. Just leave Alex, leave!

“Don’t go” Austin whispered.

Austin’s lips crashed against mine and I tensed as I put my hands up to his chest to push him away. But I didn’t, I let him kiss me again. Even after I told him I loved Jack I let him do this. Alex, snap out of it. Austin ran his hands under my shirt and I regret what I did next, I kissed Austin back and moaned into the kiss. I’m breaking Jack’s heart all over again.

Jack’s POV

The hotel room door opened and I sat up on the couch and turned off the TV. I heard footsteps as Alex appeared at the end of the hallway.

“Hey” I mumbled.

“Hi” Alex replied.

“How is he?” I asked.

“He’s alright now, just sore” he muttered.

“Alex I’m really so-” I was cut off by Alex’s lips against mine.

He pulled away as he wrapped his arms around my neck and held me close.

“I love you” he whispered.

“I love you too” I replied.

Alex pulled away as he walked around the couch and sat beside me.

“We’re going to be in my parents town tomorrow, do you want to go have family dinner with them?” Alex asked.

“A-are you sure you want me to?” I questioned.

“They’d love to see you Jack, please” Alex begged.

Alex was acting really strange, as if he was guilty for something, but that might just be me.

“I’d love to then” I replied.

Alex smirked as he kissed me softly then sat on my lap. I smirked as I pulled him close and ran my hands up his shirt. Alex let out a slight moan as I grazed my teeth along his neck.

“Jack” he gasped weakly.

“Shh” I soothed.

My lips found Alex’s as I stripped his shirt off and picked him up as he wrapped his legs around me. I carried him to the bedroom and laid him down on the bed as I ran my hands up his thighs, earning another moan.

“Into the shower, now” I ordered.

Alex grinned as he grabbed my hand and slowly pulled me to the ensuite. To be honest I found it hot with how he bit his lip as he gazed at me. I shut the door behind us and locked it as I walked over to Alex, stripping his shirt off and kissing him deeply, both my hands rested under his jaw. Alex trailed his hands under my shirt, pulling it over my head and kissing me deeper. I was lost in all the love I had for Alex, it felt like a movie. I reached for his jeans as I unbuckled his belt and let them fall as Alex reached for mine. I kicked my jeans away then slipped my thumbs inside my boxers, slipping them off then doing the same to Alex.

“Inside” I growled, nipping his neck.

Alex and I slipped inside the shower as I pinned him against the wall, turning the water on as it cascaded over us. Alex moaned as I bit his neck and squeezed his ass slightly.

“Jack” he whimpered into my ear.

I smirked as I hoisted him up, wrapping his legs around me. I lent in close to his face as I grinned seductively and lined myself up. Alex glared at me with pure lust as I thrust inside him and he lent his head back, a loud moan of pleasure escaping.

“Surprise” I chuckled, grazing my teeth on his skin.

Alex wrapped his arms around my neck as he bit my lip playfully.

“I love you” he purred.

“I love you too” I whispered with a growl.

Alex grinned as he connected his lips with mine and we got down to business.

*Time lapse next morning*

“Jack, wake up babe, we gotta run” Alex purred in my ear.

I groaned as I rolled over, maybe a little too far as I ended up on the floor. Alex started laughing hysterically and I rolled my eyes as I sat myself up and rubbed my eyes.

“Morning” I whispered.

Alex helped me up, planting a kiss on my lips and trotting off to grab his overnight bag. He was frantically typing on his iPhone and I raised an eyebrow.

“Who is it?” I asked.

“Just Austin” he replied.

I tensed as I clenched my jaw and walked into the bathroom, slamming and locking the door. I lent against the vanity as I ran my hands down my face. Why am I so damn angry? Am I jealous of Austin being best friends with Alex?

*Time lapse seven hours*

Alex took my hand, squeezing it gently as we got out of the taxi. We were at his parents house now and there was no denying that I was nervous as hell.

“You’ll be alright Jack” Alex soothed.

“I don’t want them to think different of me since we used to just be best friends” I whispered.

Alex kissed my cheek softly as we stood on the front steps and he knocked on the door. I heard some shouting and Alex tried to stifle his laughter. The door opened quickly as we were greeted by both Alex’s Mom and Dad, Isobel and Peter.

“Alex!” they yelled in unison.

I let go of Alex’s hand as he hugged his Mom tight and gave his Dad a hug. I stepped in after him, being shy as hell.

“Jack, so nice to see you as always honey” Isobel chuckled, embracing me in a hug.

We pulled away and Peter held his hand out as I shook it, then being pulled in for hug.

“You’re family now Jack” he whispered.

I smiled as we pulled away and Alex and I were ushered into the dining room. Alex sat next to me as Isobel and Peter sat across from us.

“Does this mean Jack calls me Mom now?” Isobel questioned.

“I think I called you Mom when Alex and I were just friends anyway” I chuckled.

Alex smiled as Isobel went into the kitchen and we were left with Peter at the table.

“So what town does the tour end in?” he asked.

“Not really sure, we aren’t very organised” Alex laughed.

Peter laughed and I snorted a little as I flipped some hair out of my face. I looked at Alex and grinned a little as I need to get him back for making me shriek in front of Zack and Rian on the bus.

“So son, what made you and Jack get together?” Peter asked curiously.

I slipped my hand onto Alex’s leg and he tensed a little.

“Well...” he spoke. “It just happened with a kiss, a spur of the moment thing” Alex continued.

I gave his leg a squeeze and he groaned, fluttering his eyes shut.

“You alright son?” his Dad asked.

“Absolutely perfect, just a little tense!” he shrieked as I squeezed his crotch.

I smirked as I removed my hand, earning a cold glare from Alex. Paybacks a bitch, right?

Funny story though I kept writing Alex's Mom and Alex's Dad so I was like I should guess their names. So I went with Peter for his Dad and didn't know about his Mom so I decided to look it up. Funnily enough his Dad's name is Peter. I was laughing hysterically then I'm like...I am God
