This is a short story based off of the song "Soco Amaretto Lime," by Brand New. Submitted for the Brand New Contest! Feedback is always welcome. Might I add, this is not my best work. I found it to be incredibly hard to shape this story from such a powerful song using only 1,000 words per chapter. Regardless, I hope you enjoy. Leaving for tour is a tough pill to swallow, especially when you're a carefree kid fresh out of High School. When Alex, Rian, Zack, Jack and Matt simply want to kick back and spend what little time they have left making new memories to carry with them on the road, Alex loses himself in a spunky, disciplined brunette named Jasey. Relationships are tested, promises fall through and regrets are totally unacceptable. Sometimes you have to put your dreams ahead of your feelings, even if it means losing yourself along the way.
