This last year full of planning has lead up to this point. The flowers, the food, the location. I've planned it all. I try not to be a bridezilla. I'm in a room all by myself. I'm in my panties and bra. I look at myself in the mirror. I take in a deep breath. "Breathe Paige...you got this." I walk over and pull my dress out of the bag. I grabbed it. I sat down. There was a knock at the door. "C-Come in." I stuttered. It was Zack. I hopped up and gave him a hug. "Zack, I-I'm so scarred." I said into his chest. "Hey...it's ok. Just breathe ok?" I looked up at him. "What would I do with out you?" "Die. probably..." I smacked his arm and walked over to my dress. "Help me?" "Anything for you, sis." When my parents passed away my junior year, Zack's mom took me in. Adopted me and everything. So Zack and I are brother ans sister. I stepped into my dress and he did the back for me. My hair was already done. I slipped on my shoes. "God...Zack what if I pass out?" I said pacing in front of him."Paige...you will if you don't calm down." I looked at him. "Your right." I sat down next to him. "Zack? Am I doing the right thing?" He put his arm around my shoulder. "Yes. I think so...you love Jack right?" "Yeah but-" "Then there are no buts...alright?" "Yeah...and again what would I do with out you?" I smiled at him. He kissed my forehead. "I love you, Paige." He mumbled against my forehead. "I love you too, Zack." We stood up and hugged for a minute.

"Are you ready?" a woman asked me. I nodded. Alex took the spot next to me. He was gonna walk me down the isle, and then stand next to Jack. He is mine and Jack's best friend. But ever since junior year it's been different. "Paige? Can I tell you something?" The doors opened. "Sure." I smiled seeing Jack standing there and all these people stare at me. "Paige...I'm sorry...for what I did to you." "Alex...can we not talk about that right now?" I asked in a hurt voice. Why would he even bring it up right now? "But I need you to know I'm sorry-" "Alex, Please." I turned to him. "But Paige you need to know the truth." "The truth what are you talking about?" We were about half way there. "The reason I asked to break up with you. I was nervous to tell you I loved you." "And your telling me now? You got together with Lisa very quickly Alex?" "I know I messed up. But..." Alex stepped in front of me. "What are you doing Alex?" I asked fear creeping up into my voice. "What I should have done." He took my hand. He knealed down in front of me. "Paige Elizabeth Colegrove" Jack was already standing behind Alex. Confusion written all over his and my faces. "Will you marry me?" Alex finished and I didn't move, I didn't speak. What would I say? I looked up at Zack. He just stared at me, completely wide eyed. "I uhh..." I pulled my hand away and picked up the bottom of my dress to off my shoes and ran out of the church.

I ran down the sidewalk. I didn't know where I was going but I didn't wanna be there. I stopped at the corner catching my breath. I pushed the button. It finally changed. I ran to the hotel I was staying at. I slept there the night before. I walked into my room and took off my dress and put on some jeans and a shirt. "Fuck!" I pace around the room. I grabbed my phone off the night stand and along with my keys. I ran down and grabbed my car My make up was smeared. I kept yelling fuck. I was slammming my hands on the steering wheel. I didn't know what I was supposed to do. My phone started to ring. "Shit."

Me: Hello.
Zack: Paige where did you go?
Me: Zack I left. I can't do this. I don't wanna do this. It's too hard.
Zack: Paige...Don't do this, alright? I'll meet you there. No one else alright?
Me: Alright.

I pulled up to the cemetery. I parked my car and walked over. I sat down. "I'm so sorry. You don't understand what I go through everyday because of what happened. I love you both." My parents died on a car crash, and it was all my fault if I hadn't gotten drunk and left at a party they would have never had to come and get me. I sat there think and crying when Zack walked up. "Hey." I turned around. I jumped up and ran into his arms. "I don't wanna hurt anymore Zack, I don't wanna be confused anymore. I wanna be able to move on." He hugged me tighter. " I know, I know but I don't know what to tell you. You just skipped out on your wedding." "Yeah cause someone asked me to marry them...at MY wedding!" We sat down. "Zack...I think I'm gonna runaway for a little. Go to Italy maybe Greece. Get myself together. Hold down everyone here. Tell them I love them. As for Jack tell him I'm sorry as for Alex the same thing. Maybe I'll come back and have a decision." "Alright. I understand. You better keep me updated." He squinted his eyes and pointed his finger at me. "I will." I crossed my heart and held up my hand. We laughed and he hugged me. "I love you, Zack." "You too." We stood up and he walked me to my car. "Wish me luck?" "You don't need it." He smiled and I made my way to the Air port. "Here goes nothing."
