I pull away from Alex and my stomach fills with butterflies. He rests his head on my shoulder and I smile, draping an arm around his shoulders.

"You're comfy." He giggles. I smile. He's so cute... Like adorable.

"You're adorable." I say. He smiles at me and I kiss his cheek making him blush.

"Rian," he says. I nod and look at him, showing him I'm listening. "I love you."

Smiling I answer, "I love you too." I kiss him again and his mom comes in.

"Rian, your mom is here to get you." His mom says nicely. I nod and lean forward to get up. Alex snatches my arm and I look at him.

"Alex I have to get going." I say with a slight laugh.

"No. Stay with me!" He pleads. "Please!"

"I'll be back tomorrow, I swear." I say. He looks me in the eye with a look of determination. I sigh and kiss him. His arms wrap around my waist and we pull away. "I promise." I whisper.

"Okay." He says. I smile and peck him on the lips one more time. "I love you."

"I love you too." I say.

I walk over to the door and feel Alex's eyes glued on me. I wave before heading down the hall to the waiting room. I head out to the parking lot and get into the car.

"Hey, honey. How's Alex doing?" My mom asks. I smile.

"Good. He didn't want me to leave." I say. She laughs a little and I smile again. "How'd I get so lucky?" I think aloud.

"I don't know." She says, knowing I was thinking aloud. I blush and look out the window.

I watch the village houses pass and the little kids playing outside, carefree. They don't worry about bullies and people who judge... life sucks. I think about when Alex was driven away to the hospital.

-flashback-

I watch the ambulance drive away and then I hear the voice of the one who beat my boyfriend. I turn to him and he has a smile on his face.

"Look who's little boyfriend was sent to the hospital." He says. I roll my eyes. "I wonder who did it."

"Me too. It can't be the bully with blood on his fingers from punching a helpless boy! What the hell is wrong with you?!" I shout. "You beat him so much he could've died! You made him feel fucking worthless!"

"Good. He deserves to feel like that." He says.

That's when it hits me. He treats Alex like that because he's jealous. He's jealous has a nice life. He must have an awful one. Haha I can so use this theory on him.

"You think you hide behind that stupid mask of yours?" I ask. He looks confused.

"What?"

"I know why you beat up Alex." I say. "And everyone! It's because you're jealous. You think they all have nice lives. You envy them. You beat them up to make them feel worthless." I explain.

He loses his temper and punches me square in the face. It's not like I didn't expect it. I stagger back and don't bother to check my nose. It's obviously bleeding.

"Like that." I say. He glares at me and the police show up. Oh shit! Busted.

"I'm here in behalf of Alexander Gaskarth. Who saw what happened?" An officer asks. I raise my hand immediately.

"He did it." I say. "He sent my boyfriend to the hospital."

"Boyfriend huh?" The officer says. I nod. "that-"

"Shut up, Drew." A women snaps, getting out of the car. "Don't mind him. He's homophobic."

"Jerk." I mumble.

"So, he did it?" The lady asks. I nod. "Who else saw this?"

"Basically the whole school."

"Young man. You're coming with me."

-end of flashback-

Mrs. Gaskarth pressed charges which made Alex happy and me happy. I get out of the car at home and head inside.

I go up to my room and sit on my bed. I want Alex to get out of the hospital soon. I miss him already. I lie down and look at the time after doing homework, eating dinner and practicing my drums.

Ten o'clock.

I groan and lie down. Tomorrow is Saturday. Thank god. I close my eyes without changing into pajamas and fall asleep.

I wake up in the morning and feel someone's arms around me. I almost freak out, but then realize it's Alex. I calm down and curl up to Alex.

"Hi." He greets.

"What are you doing here?" I ask into his chest. He rubs my back as he holds me and shrugs.

"Thought I'd pay my boyfriend a visit." He says. I smile. "I missed you."

"I missed you too." I say. I see his cast and smile. "Can I sign it?"

"You're the first one I wanted to sign it." He says.

He pulls a sharpie out and hands it to me. I sign it saying "Get better soon. <3 U, Rian" and hand him the marker.

"Thanks!" He says smiling.

"Welcome." I say. After five minutes of silence, Alex breaks it.

"What do you want to do today?"

"Stay like this." I say. He smiles.

"I was hoping you'd say that."
