Jacks POV
I felt someone push me from behind. My hand slipped from Alex’s grasp and I began falling down the stairs then it all went black. I woke up to a beeping and a mask on my face my head was strapped down and I was attached to lots of different tubes and wires. That’s when I knew exactly where I was. I was in hospital. I didn’t want to be here I hated hospitals. I didn’t know why I was here. The doctor walked in. “Ahhh Mr Barakat it’s good to see you awake now.”
“How long have I been laying here?”
“About three days. We have a visitor for you his name is Alex Gaskarth; we don’t have to let him in if you don’t want to see him.”
“Please let him in him will be so worried” The doctor pulled the curtain back and allowed Alex in.
“Hey Jack. Thank god you are alright. I was so worried about you, I came here every day while you were blacked out but they wouldn’t let me see you until you had woken up”
“Well that was a bit mean wasn’t it what if I wanted to wake up to you?”
“Well apparently they didn’t consider that”
“Well at least they are letting me see you now come here a give me a hug “I demanded. He came over and gave me a huge hug and kiss. I am glad he knew me so well. That’s when Tom came cheerfully through the curtain.
“Hey how ya doing?” he asked.
“Good Thanks.” I managed “A little bit sore and bruised from falling down the stairs”
“Yea well I and Alex have a firm idea what happened. We have a feeling that you didn’t fall but that you were pushed”
“Who would want to push me down the stairs? Did I fall from maths?”
“Yes!” Alex replied “You scared me when you didn’t wake up. I will give you three guesses as to who you pushed you down the stairs.”
“Was it Mark who pushed me”
“Well he is the most likely culprit”
“Alex?” Tom questioned “Have you spoken to the police about it?”
“No, I haven’t I couldn’t be sure that it was Mark who pushed Jack. Anyway it would make mine and Jacks life at school more awful than it already is”
“Okay but if anything else happens you have to tell the police, or he will carry on and you never know what he might do next. He might really hurt you one of these days if he thinks he can get away with it” Tom told us.
Yes he is right about that. If anything else happens. Lex promise me you will tell them”
“Yes I will anything to help you” Alex told me. Then everything went black and I heard Alex screaming and Tom yelling for someone to help.
