Get On Your Knees and Tell Me That You Love Me

I Hate Planning Parties.

"It's only my seventeenth birthday, I seriously don't need a birthday party." I attempted telling Dallas and Molly. They drove to a party store. Apparently, they already had my "special day" planned out. Mega house party. Everyone had to bring at least $20, it was like their ticket to get in.

"I asked mom," Molly told me when I had asked her: 'How in the fucking world are you pulling this off?' "She told me that she'd get dad and go to a hotel."

Dallas scoffed from the front seat. "Yes! Come on, Mace. A party won't kill you. Plus, think about all the cash you'll get."

I rolled my eyes and tucked my arm in my chest. "How do you except to get all this cash?"

Dallas shrugged. His thin lips turned into a smile. "Flyers, darling."

I rubbed my hands on my face. "Fine. You do all the planning, cleaning, whatever! I'm staying out of it."

"But aren't you helping us pick out decorations?" Molly piped in, with a protesty voice.

I stifled a laugh out. "Those decorations will be gone in a minute."

Molly turned her head and looked at me. "Your parties next week, just so you know. Are you okay with that?"

"As long as it doesn't get out of control."

"Great," Dallas said. "Is your rockstar boyfriend coming?"

I tensed up. "You're worse than Alex. He's not my boyfriend."

After I had came home from the mall, Dallas was there. He was laying on Molly's bed with a pen and paper writing down details for the party. They were making a 'persuasive' letter for me, trying to convince me to let them. I at first rejected, but then Dallas yelled 'PLAN B!' and picked me up with Molly's help and threw me in the car. I couldn't fight it off either. Dallas was a swimmer with a swimmer body. So my puny little body was basically dead in his arms.

"Alex?" Dallas asked.

"Jack's best friend. Singer for All Time Low." Molly explained to him.

Dallas bobbed his head and formed his mouth into an 'o'. "Has the thought of you being involved with rockstars ever get to you?"

"Get to me? What do you mean?"

"Like, have you ever thought about it? One of your best friends is in All-Time-fucking-Low!"

I sighed. "No. I wasn't ever a mega fan."

"Oh come on!" Molly exclaimed. "Please tell you remember all of those summer nights when Dear Maria would be on the radio. You're tight with Jack Barakat."

"It doesn't matter," I shook my head. "I'm not into them."

Dallas, keeping both hands on the steering wheel, gestured his head to the radio. "Don't you have one of their albums?"

Molly smiled. "Good idea." she bent down and pulled out a CD from the bottom of the door. She came back up with So Wrong, It's Right in her pale hands. She slid the CD in.

The beginning guitars of This Is How We Do slowly made it's way into my ears. I sat back and shut my eyes. The volume went up. I hummed along. Molly was screaming the lyrics.

The music was cut off and the sound of the door opening replaced it. I opened my eyes and unbuckled my seat belt. We walked into the party store.

"Maybe we should get blow up-" Dallas started.

"Please, don't." I cut him off, with a disgusted face.

"How'd you know what I was about to say?" He raised an eyebrow, testing me.

"What colors do you like?" Molly asked.

I thought for a second. "Maybe you should do a Valentine's day theme."

Dallas slapped my shoulder. I stumbled and regained my balance. "Now you get ahold of your inner planner!"

I rubbed my shoulder. My phone started to buzz in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw that Jack was calling.

"So pink, purple, and red?" Molly picked up some balloons.

I nodded. "Hey, I'm going to go in the car. I'm exhausted."

Molly waved me off. I headed outside. I answered, "Hi."

"Hey! Uh, so, I managed to find out what Alex was saying to you. I'm really sorry." he apologized, nervously.

I smiled and bit my lip. I opened the cars door and climbed inside. "It's fine."

"Are you sure? Because I feel like a real ass, if you don't ever want to talk to me or Alex, I'd-"

I stopped him. "Jack, I said it was fine." I giggled.

It wasn't really fine. I just didn't want him worrying over it.

He breathed out a relieved sigh. "Do you want to come over tonight? To the hotel?"

"Not tonight. I have school in the morning... But I'll tell you what, I'll come over there straight after school. What hotel are you staying at?" I asked him, slamming the door shut.

"Mariot, I'll text you where exactly when I figure it out exactly myself." he laughed.

"Alri-"

"Alex, you ass!" I heard the phone drop and the line go dead.

I stared at my phone and hung up. "Well alrighty then." I muttered.

I slowly started to think about the party. Would Jack come? Probably not. He wouldn't want to go to a lame high school party. I would invite him anyways, though. It was the only right thing to do.

I wondered if Taylor would show up. Shit. Taylor. I needed to talk to him. I haven't been answering his phone calls all weekend. To be honest, it was actually the last thing I had wanted to do. He was a shit boyfriend as it was.

I shut my eyes and slowly drifted into sleep.

We'll have to see how the ending turns out! If it ends up going as I plan, there wouldn't be a cliff hanger, so it wouldn't need a sequel. But i can always go a complete 180°! thanks for your feed back:)
I loved this update. You should write a sequel when you finish this. Good job.
