It has been about 3 months since the last time Jack and I talked about marriage or children. Our last conversation about it consisted of how old it would be and what gender.

After a long debate over it, and opinions from my family and our friends, we decided on a newborn baby girl.

Jack and I were laying out on the front lawn pointing at the clouds and just sharing lazy kisses.

Today was the day.

"I love you, Alex." Jack whispered, kissing my hair.

"I love you too." I said, tightening my grip around him.

"I'm really thankful for you, you know that right?"

I just nodded and smiled, kissing him and pulling away, focusing my attention on my phone when I heard it beep.

I read the message, Rian saying to meet him at the station and saying everything is ready.

"Jack." I said and he hummed, staring up into the sky.

"Rian needs me at the station, do you want to come with me?" I ask and he nods.

We get up, and walk to my truck and drove off to the station.

I drove up to the station, smiling when I could see the garage doors closed but the firetrucks placed in order how I told Rian to put them in.

I got out of the car quickly, reaching into the side compartment of the door for the box, shoving it into my back pocket luckily without Jack seeing and ran to his side and opened up the door for him.

"What a gentleman" Jack said, kissing my cheek.

"I know" I said, winking and lacing my hand with his.

We were leaning on the brick wall of the station sharing lazy kisses until Jack spoke up.

"Didn't Rian need you for something?" Jack asks and my mouth formed an 'o' shape but my heart fluttered at what I was about to do.

"Um, yeah. Forgot about that." I said and turned around to 'try' and open the garage door to get into the floor where all the firetrucks were but 'failed miserably'.

"Fuck." I said, shaking the door trying to make as much noise as possible.

All the sudden, the sirens on the trucks blared and the garage doors opened, one after the other pulled out forming a sentence.

I pulled Jack back and held his hand as the first firetruck pulled out.

"Will" The first one read and I smiled when Jacks face was a little confused.

The second truck pulled out a little behind the first reading "You".

Then the last firetruck pulled out just behind it reading "Marry me"

But that wasn't the last. I vanished from behind Jack when he covered his mouth with his hand and then came out of the garage holding the last sign reading "Jack?"

I walked up to him, gently setting down the sign and getting down on one knee, holding out the thick black band in front of him.

"Well what do you say, Jack? Will you marry me?" I asked with a smile.

Jacks eyes welled up with tears and he nodded.

"Y-yes." He choked out and I grinned even wider if that was even possible and stood up to slip the ring on his ring finger.

"I love you so much." I whispered into his ear and he choked out another sob, gripping me tighter.

"I love you too, Alex. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." He said, pulling back to kiss me.

"Same here baby. And I will till my last breath."
