*Alex's POV*

Jack and I slept all day. And when I say all day, I mean all day. Except for the occasional bathroom breaks. But currently Jack was curled up into my side breathing light breaths while I watched tv. I didn't wanna wake him up cause I knew he was tired and upset but I wanted him to wake up.

I sat up and shook his shoulder lightly kissing his neck in the process.

"Jack baby, let's get up. Let's go take a bath, okay? I'm going to take you out for dinner"

He mumbled words I didn't understand but soon sat up and strectched and smiled when he saw me.

"Hi" He shyly said as I kissed his cheek.

"Hey baby. C'mon" I said standing up taking his hand pulling him up.

"Where we goin'?" I giggled and lead him to the bathroom and pulled his shirt over his head along with mine and leaned over to turn on the faucet of the marble bathtub that Heaven somehow convinced me to install. I had to say it was pretty so eh, what the heck.

I poured bubbles into the water and when the tub was pretty much full I turned it off and pulled down my sweat pants motioning for Jack to do the same which he obliged.

I stepped into the warm water and pulled Jack in with me and sat him down in front of me letting the water relax him. His arms were folded on his belly and I placed my hands under them and began to rub small circles when my hand traveled up to his arm and picked it up inspecting the cut that he made. It was fairly big but I could tell it closed up a lot since last night. I ran my thumb over it softly and began to hum softly in his ear swaying back and forth gently ocasionally reaching over for a cup and wetting both of our heads to wash our hair and body.

Jack was sighing softly and soon the water turned cold so I leaned over and unplugged the little plugger majigger. Never knew what those were called and pulled Jack up with me and wrapped us both i a towel.

"Let's go get ready. I'm taking you out tonight" I said smiling and leaning over to kiss his scarred cheek then his lips.

"Okay"

Jack was stood in front of the mirror in our bedroom buttoning up his black dress shirt I let him borrow and started to tuck it into his jeans. He turned around and pecked me on the lips mumbling an "'m ready" against them and grabbed my hand leading me out the door.

We sat facing each other in a secluded booth in Texas Road House eating our steaks casually passing small talk here and there.

"Is everything alright for you guys? Need anymore drinks?" The short blonde waiter said in a happy tone before her eyes grazed Jacks and she suddenly lost her spark. I saw Jacks face fall and I reached over and grabbed his hand and rubbed my thumb over it softly before turning to the waiter and mumbling a 'no thanks' but really wanting to say 'fuck off, you hurt my boyfriend'

She dropped her head and stuffed her booklet back into her apron and walked away leaving us to finish our meal alone.

"Jack I'm sorry" I said reaching over and stroking his cheek softly before pulling back and continuing to eat.

"'S fine really. I guess I should get used to it"

"I don't th-" I was cut off by a loud beeping and dropped my fork reaching down for my pager reading I had to get to the station ASAP.

I muttered a 'fuck' before getting up.

"I gotta go baby I'm so fucking sorry. I'll call my mom and have her pick you up and take you back to the house. Here have the key. I'm really sorry I gotta go. I'll make it up to you"

He just shrugged and kissed me before I bolted out the door in a sprint across the parking lot. When I got in the car I quickly unbuttoned my dress shirt and threw it in the back seat and reached for my station shirt and pulled it over my head before pulling out of the parking lot heading to the station not really caring about the speed limit seeing what I had in store for me tonight.

It was nearing 2AM when I got home from the station. I opened the front door quietly bearing chinese takeout from the 24/7 hut thinking Jack might of been hungry cause I knew I was.

I stepped into the kitchen being quietly as possible thinking Jack was asleep but I was dead wrong cause right when I turned around he waltzed into the kitchen, my sweat pants low and I mean low on his hips without a shirt on. I felt my jeans grow tighter around me at the sight but ignored it and hugged him gently rubbing my hands up his sides.

"'M sorry baby. I didn't want to leave you during dinner, but I brought you some shrimp fried rice" I said motioning to the counter. His face lit up and kissed me saying a thank you and we got our food together and sat on the couch and I turned on the movie Repo! The Genetic Opera and we ate in silence just enjoying our presence.

When we were done, I took all of our trash and threw it away after I put the leftovers in a zip lock container and placed it in the fridge. When I walked back into the kitchen I saw Jack curled up in a ball asleep on the couch with a small smile plastered on his face.

I smiled and leaned down to scoop him up to take him upstairs to bed considering we slept down here last night. I placed him softly on his side of the bed and covering him up, kissing his cheek whispering "goodnight beautiful" in his ear before climbing into my side of the bed drifting off to sleep.
