I didn't want him to fully agree without laying down some ground rules so he wouldn't regret his decision. If he hadn't insisted that she stopped being rude to him and his friends, then she would keep doing it. There will be a reason he insisted on the no lying bit, I promise. And the last one was him being a goof and trying to lighten the air :)
About the angst...all will be revealed in good time :)

Hmm... I'm surprised Alex was so conditional with this deal. I mean, I know she was being a bitch to him, so he kind of deserves to be, but like, at the same time, isn't he somewhat happy that she's finally giving him the time of day? lol. Like, I just didn't think he would set up all those terms. XD
Hmm... hearing all of this angst with her uncle and stuff definitely has me wondering more about her backstory. What happened? Why is she so guarded? As I saw you said in your other comment though, you're slowly working up to it, so I understand. But yeah, I'm definitely wondering. Just like what happened with her parents, and if maybe she had any siblings...?
And then the songwriting, hmm... I wonder if she'll write anything for ATL. ;)
Yep, this story definitely has me hooked; looking forward to seeing more. :)

I plan to reveal it in bits and pieces throughout the story. I don't want to reveal it all at once :)

So I just stumbled across this, and decided to check it out. This is pretty entertaining so far for just two chapters. :D I'm really liking this. I never usually comment this early, but I really like your writing style; it's very detailed compared to a lot of writers I've read on here. Like you mention the main character's actions, but not too much narration. Just the right balance of dialogue and action, so kudos.
I'll be around to read more if you choose to continue it, which I hope you do. :)
