Yes! I do know all that as well! I just wanted to add it in there because there is the common misconception that babies are born with their eyes closed and must wait for them to open, much like puppies. Like, i've heard so many people that think that for some reason! I've been doing child care things since I was in the 5th grade, so...10? I think, i'm graduating from college now so that was a long time ago but kudos to you for also knowing awesome things!

GROUP HUG! lol. Usually I'm the only one around here who knows any of that stuff. Even my friends who are moms or are pregnant haven't done their research, so it's a sigh of releif to know there's someone else who has. (:

That's true, however not all children keep their eyes open. Sometimes you have alrert babies, and sometimes you don't. It often depends on the reaction they have to the eye drops or even if Mommy had pain medications before the epidural. These are called 'drowsy babies,' and it's often advised that Mom doesn't even get the epidural if she wants her baby to be fully alert. I've been attending child-birthing classes since I was fifteen. The baby boom started way early on my end! lol. Did you also know they're all born with blue eyes? Some babies the color changes quickly, other's very slowly. I think Courtney just wanted to add some 'oomph' to this story by making us wait to see what color eyes they have.
P.S. I love that you know that. I'm going to internet hug you right now, okay? *hugs* :D <3.

This is so good! On a side note, human babies are born with their eyes open! They actually start opening their eyes and seeing while they are in the womb at like 28 weeks and I obviously have had way too many pregnant friends... so im going to stop now, but seriously I love this story.

Everyone has a different sense of normal. Don't let others define normal for you. Define it for yourself. That's how I see myself. My parents think I'm weird. And I know I'm weird, but that's normal for me. Always rise above other people's judgements. They don't know the real you.
