Yes. The only way I would ban that from the contest is if everyone tried to do it, which is why I only created two Jalex slots. So long as your story is creative, feel free to pair someone. (:

So I can pair anyone with anyone except for Jack with Alex if I don't have Jalex? Just to make it clear :)

I would never drop out. I'd just complain as I write. I also don't perform well with Jalex either. That is something I don't touch. If anything, I'll take a long time drafting my entry in all honesty if get someone that isn't Alex or Jack.

You're actually not the only person who has been hesitant because of the assigned member thing. So I just want to make sure everyone is ready for anything, especially people who are weird about Jalex just in case they end up with that slot. There are so many people on this site in general who rarely stray away from one band member, usually Alex, and they have no idea how to write about anyone else, like Zack and Rian.

ALL of the contestants need to understand that the chances of them ending up with the member they desire is slim to none. There are only two slots for each member. My main concern is that, everyone needs to be prepared to step out of their comfort zone before I send them their theme/member, that way no one drops out and ruins the contest for everyone else.

I feel like I inspired the latest post here. But hey, at least I posed it.
