Jack’s POV
I woke up to find Alex asleep on his front with the covers just covering his ass, I couldn’t help but smile as I quietly got out of bed and put some pants on and went downstairs to make coffee.
I walked into the kitchen to find Karen in the kitchen.
“Jesus Karen didn’t know you was in.” I said as I quickly looked round for something to put on and I just managed to find Alex’s hoodie and put it on before Karen looked round and smiled at me.
“Well I did phone and ring the door bell but there was no answer so I thought you and Alex had gone out. I’m sorry to intrude Mr Barakat.” Karen said and I smiled at her as I walked into the kitchen.
“It’s fine, either me or Alex should of heard one of the two and answered it. And what have I told you about calling me Mr Barakat, it’s Jack.” I said and Karen smiled as she put two mugs of coffee in front of me.
“I’m guessing last night was a good night considering the mess or is that just the mess Alex makes? You may keep asking but I’ll still call you Mr Barakat.” Karen said and I just sighed as I picked the coffees up.
“Don’t worry about my room today.” I said as I walked off and left Karen to clean.
I walked into my room where Alex was still fast asleep.
“Lex.” I said quietly as I put the coffees down on his bedside table and I sat on the bed and touched Alex’s back.
“Lex wake up.” I said and Alex sighed as he rolled over and slowly woke up.
“You have my hoodie on.” Alex said sleepily as I climbed over him and got back under the covers and pulled Alex into my chest which made Alex sigh as he rolled over to face me and I kissed his forehead.
“Why you go my hoodie on?” Alex asked sleepily as he slowly fell back asleep.
“I went downstairs in just my pants to find Karen in the kitchen and I grabbed the first thing I could find so she doesn’t see the whole thing.” I said and Alex chuckled quietly as he moved closer towards me.
“Also Karen has made us coffee.” I said and Alex groaned slightly.
“Well Karen is a Babe.” Alex said and I chuckled quietly.
“Please tell me Karen isn’t coming in here because I’m not moving until I have too.” Alex said and I made him look at me as I kissed him which Alex returned.
“Nope, I told her not to clean in here but she is cleaning downstairs since it’s in a mess after you.” I said and Alex smiled slightly.
“I wasn’t the only one who made the mess downstairs.” Alex mumbled as I felt him kiss my chest which made me smile to myself as I moved so Alex was now underneath me.
“You want this you better be quiet, don’t want Karen knowing what we get up too.” I said and Alex chuckled as he reached up and kissed me which I returned and Alex pulled back slightly and looked at me.
“I’ll try and keep quiet, but I’m not promising nothing.” Alex said as he kissed me again.

“I’m going to take you out tonight.” I said as I walked to the sitting room where Alex was watching something on tv.
“You don’t have to.” Alex said quietly as he looked at me from the sofa.
“Well I want too, also I want to show you off to the world.” I said and Alex frowned at me as he stood up.
“But I’m nothing too you though.” Alex said and I gently pulled him closer to me and I kissed him softly which Alex returned.
“Yeah you are something to me, but I just haven’t asked you yet.” I said which made Alex frown at me.
“I won’t have sex with anyone.” I said quietly as I kissed Alex once more and walked towards the kitchen and I could hear Alex following me.
“I know I’m like a needy child and all that shit but I’ve given everything up to live here and something was to go tits up I would be the one who ends up with nothing and my ass is back to square one on the streets and working at the club for stupid amount of hours for shit pay.” Alex said and I turned round and looked at him with a smile as he stood by the island.
“You are just looking out for yourself and that’s understandable. But I promise you that this won’t go tits up and if anything was to happen to us I would make sure you had a roof over your head and some money until you was on your feet again.” I said and Alex sighed.
“You don’t get it.” Alex said quietly as he walked off and I sighed loudly as I made myself and Alex a drink and walked to the sitting room and I decided to drop the subject and just enjoy cuddling Alex on the sofa watching film.
I was sat on the counter in the bathroom watching Alex have a shower.
“You’ve got to learn that I’m not like everyone else.” I said and Alex sighed as the water stopped and he got out the shower and wrapped the towel round him.
“I haven’t worked out if your a good one or a bad one yet. It’s just something you don’t understand.” Alex said as he looked down and I got off the counter and walked over to him and made him look at me.
“I’m a good one okay. I’ll do nothing like the others did and I’ll look after you and make sure you are going to be okay.” I said and Alex smiled slightly.
“Go and get ready and I’ll meet you downstairs.” I said quietly as I kissed Alex which he returned and I let him walk off to go and get changed.
After a while Alex came downstairs and stood next to me by the island.
“I know you are a good one, but I need to show myself that you’re not going to hurt me like the others.” Alex said quietly as he looked down.
I placed a finger under Alex’s chin and made him look at me.
“You’re safe here okay. Nobody is going to come through that front door unless I allow them too.” I said and Alex smiled as he nodded.
I lent forward and kissed him which Alex returned.
“Let’s go and get something to eat.” I said as I held my hand out for Alex and he looked at my hand and smiled as he walked over and caught hold of my hand and we went to one of my favorite restaurants.
“You said your mother died when you was young, what happened if I may ask.” I said and Alex smiled sadly at me.
“She had something wrong with her. The picture in my room was taken about a week before she died.” Alex said as he looked down.
“And your father?” I asked and Alex shrugged his shoulders.
“Fuck knows about him. Remember my mum calling him a sperm donor so that’s all what he is too me.” Alex said as he put some food in his mouth.
“Have you ever wanted to look for him?” I asked and Alex shook his head.
“He wasn’t there for me when I needed someone, I looked after my mum until my grandmother came and took over looking after me and my mum. Once my mother died he had a chance then to find me and bond with me but he never did. I don’t care to be honest because why should I care for someone who clearly doesn’t care about me.” Alex said and I nodded as I understood.
“What about you? You got family?” Alex asked as he carried on eating his food and I chewed the food as quickly as I could so I could answer Alex’s question.
“I have a sister but both my parents have passed.” I said and Alex looked at me.
“I’m sorry to hear that. Are you and your sister close?” Alex said and I nodded.
“Yeah me and my sister are close, she’s due to come and visit in the next month so I’m hoping you would like to meet her.” I said and Alex frowned at me.
“Does she even know about me and what I was?” Alex asked and I nodded.
“Like I said me and my sister are close and we share everything with each other.” I said and Alex looked at me alarmed.
“Don’t worry, she knows about you and I haven’t told her anything about you which I believe isn’t any of her business such as your problems and your past.” I said and Alex looked down and nodded.
“Did you tell her I was slutting it out in the streets?” Alex asked and i wrapped my leg round Alex’s which made him look at me.
“She knows that your name is Alex, she knows that I really like you, she knows that you are younger than me. She worked really hard just to get that out of me.” I said and Alex nodded slightly.
“I don’t tell our secrets to anyone Lex, anything you say to me you say it because you trust me and I would never want to break that trust.” I said and Alex smiled at me which I returned.
“Eat up, I want to take you somewhere.” I said as I ate my meal and I looked up and saw Alex smiling as he finished what he was eating.

“I mean that place was gorgeous, I didn’t even know that place even existed.” Alex said as we got back to my apartment building hand in hand.
“I know the best places in town.” I said and Alex chuckled as I opened the door and let Alex in first as I tapped his ass which made Alex look at me with a smirk on his face which I returned as I walked in the door and we headed towards the lift before we was stopped by one of the door people.
“Mister Barakat.” The door person said and I stopped and looked at him.
“Evening Tony.” I said and he smiled.
“There was a woman who came in earlier asking where your apartment was. I told her you was out and she asked when you’ll be back but I said I couldn’t answer that question.” Tony said and I nodded as I looked at my phone and saw that my sister had messaged me and was slagging off Tony which made me roll my eyes.
“Well that would of been my sister, I’m sorry to anything she said to you that even what she said in Arabic.” I said and Tony smiled at me and he looked at Alex who was standing slightly behind me still holding my hand.
“Please do tell your sister I don’t appreciate being sworn at in England and in Arabic.” Tony said and I sighed loudly.
“Again Tony I can only apologize for my sister.” I said as I got my phone out and walked off with Alex following me as we got to the lift and went to the apartment.
I was phoned my sister and I left Alex to do whatever he does best.
“Lex.” I said as I finished a heated conversation with my sister and went looking for Alex and I found him in the kitchen cooking something.
“So my sister is coming over.” I said and Alex looked at me.
“Does that mean I have to cook for her because if so I’m not doing it.” Alex said and I chuckled as I lent against the island.
“No you don’t have to cook for her. But I’m going to have to warn you about her though.” I said and Alex looked at me.
“Rana is very forward going until you get to know here and she also will speak her mind and she will speak either English or Arabic.” I said and Alex frowned at me.
“Well you failed to mention you speak Arabic.” Alex said and I smirked at him.
“I rarely speak it, I only speak it when Rana is around and if I’ve got business on that side of the world.” I said and Alex smiled at me as the doorbell rang.
“Lord save us.” I said and Alex chuckled as I walked towards the door.
“You don’t mean that.” Alex said and I looked at him as I opened the door.
“Jacky! God I haven’t seen you in months!” Rana said as she pulled me into a hug which I returned.
“Oh my god Jack he’s gorgeous!” Rana said as she made a b-line towards Alex.
“Yeah I know he is and also he’s really gay so don’t even bother with trying to get into his pants.” I said as I walked over to Alex who looked at Rana and then to me making it clear he was comfortable with Rana being close to him.
“I have to go to work.” Alex said as he walked past me and I frowned at him.
“You don’t have work tonight.” I said confused.
“Well I do now, I’ll see you later.” Alex said quietly as he went upstairs to get changed.
“Wait he’s a prostitute? Shit I never thought you would go for one of them I mean once someone is with you your pretty protective over them.” Rana said and I looked at her and watched her help herself to food.
“He’s not a prostitute.” I said as I went upstairs to check in Alex.
“You okay babe?” I asked as I walked into our room.
“Yeah, when you said she was forward going I didn’t know she was that forward going. It just reminds me of someone I used to know.” Alex said quietly as he looked at me.
“Are you going to the club or the streets?” I asked looking down.
“I don’t go on the streets anymore because I’m with you and I would never cheat on you by being a filthy slut. I’m going to the club for a couple of hours.” Alex said and I nodded as Alex walked over and kissed me which I returned.
“I’ll see you later.” Alex said as he walked out the room and went downstairs which made me sigh loudly as I went downstairs and spent some time with Rana.
“So that boyfriend of yours is a little young.” Rana said as she sat on the sofa and poured herself and me a glass of wine.
“You giving me relationship advice, please I don’t need it from you.” I said and Rana rolled her eyes at me.
“So what happened to Sam then?” Rana asked.
“He cheated and kicked me out of here to move in with his boytoy and once I put everything in his name he kicked off and gave me the apartment back and yeah that when things started to blossom with Alex.” I said and Rana smiled at me.
“He seems nice, but like really awkward around women. Hey you don’t think he’s actually straight and hiding it.” Rana said and I rolled my eyes as I had a mouthful of wine.
“He has his reasons why he’s like it and you being all in his face didn’t help matters. Also his pretty gay considering he enjoys my dick inside of him.” I said bluntly which made Rana spit her drink out
“I don’t need to know that. But come on he works at night I mean his ass looked great in those jeans.” Rana said and I rolled my eyes.
“He works at a bar, I’ve lived with him in his apartment and trust me when I say that outfit is not something he would wear if he was on the streets.” I said and Rana frowned at me
“Okay, so you know I love you and all that shit and that I’ll always be here for you. But talking as a person with money to another person with money, are you he’s not with you because you were being too kind to him and he saw his chance and using you for your money and everything you have to offer.” Rana said and I looked down and sighed quietly.
“Yeah there’s a bit of me that thinks that he’s using me but Alex isn’t like Sam, he’s a kind person and he has been through so much in his life and I just want him to feel like he’s a person because he’s never felt like a person and I want to be that person who makes him feel human again and I want to be that person he can trust and tell anything to me. I have a glimpse of his life for about a month and it wasn’t nice.” I said and Rana nodded.
“He’s just like Teddy was when you got with him, minus Alex wasn’t on drugs and you know I was giving you a hard time about Teddy and you know Teddy was worse than Alex and you brought him to the man he is now. You know I was telling you to get rid of him and you pretty much shouted at me that you weren’t going to give up on him. This is the same with me and Alex.” I said and Rana smiled.
“Fine but if he fucks up he answering to me.” Rana said and I chuckled as I rested my head on her shoulder.
“You can always go and sort Sam out if you wish.” I said and Rana chuckled.
“Nope, that bastard was a waste of space and he never deserved you.” Rana said and I smiled slightly.
“Think Alex could grow on me.” Rana said as one of our phones went off and Rana looked at hers and shook her head and I looked and saw a number which wasn’t a number I noticed so I opened it and it was a message saying Alex was in hospital.
“I need to go. You know where your room is you might just have to move Alex’s stuff.” I said as I stood up.
“Jack what’s wrong?” Rana asked as she stood up as well.
