Alex’s POV
I dragged Jack into the dorm where the party was in full swing despite it being 6 in the evening we didn’t really care as we literally spent the whole time having parties even before I ran away.
“Alexander!” Brooke said loudly as she walked over and wrapped her arms round me and Noah was watching me closely.
“Noah, show Jack where the booze is and make me a really strong vodka and coke. Cheers babe your the best.” I said loudly which made Brooke laugh and I looked behind me where Jack was clearly out of his comfort zone.
Brooke moved and I turned round and grabbed hold of Jack’s hand again and dragged him over to Noah.
“Noah, Jack. Jack, Noah. Noah is a straight edge and doesn’t drink so if I’m too intoxicated later then find Noah and he’ll look after you.” I said and Jack frown and Noah looked at me.
“He fucking stinks Alex and so do you.” Noah said and I shrugged my shoulders as I made myself and Jack a drink.
“He is a wolf after all and I am wearing his clothes so suck it up buttercup.” I said and patted Noah’s face and he just glared at me.
“Here bottoms up.” I said to Jack and did my shot of vodka before I had another one before I started mixing my drinks.
“How aren’t you fucked already, I’m feeling really drunk now.” Jack said as he sat next to me as everyone decided that they all wanted to go to bed early and me and Jack was the last people standing.
“It’s called building your tolerance up. Since up until tonight you was a straight edge like Noah you have no tolerance to the alcohol I have made you drink tonight.” I said and Jack pouted which made me chuckle.
“Think I need to get you too bed.” I said as I stood up but the alcohol hit me all at once and I groaned loudly as I sat my ass back down.
“Think its more like the other way around.” Jack chuckled and I looked at him.
“Shut up. At least I can stand up sort off anyway.” I said and I stood up again and this time I stayed on my feet.
“Up you get.” I said and Jack stood up and it took him a couple of seconds to get his balance and he sort off staggered towards the stairs.
“Wrong stairs Jack. Unless you want the girls to beat you up.” I said and Jack groaned loudly as he turned round and went to the other set of stairs and I followed him up the stairs and hoped to god that neither of us fell down them.
“My door is the first one on the left.” I said and Jack nodded using the walk to guide him along and he found my door and he opened it and he nearly fell inside which made me chuckle.
I helped Jack over to the bed and he sat down and tried to take his surroundings in but his drunken mind couldn’t focus.
“Why is your room so nice?” Jack asked as I helped him take his shoes off.
“It’s not that nice.” I said and Jack looked at me.
“It’s posher than my room.” Jack said with a pout.
“Well you probably don’t spend as much time in your room as I do so maybe that’s why your room isn’t that posh.” I said and Jack groaned.
“Top on or off?” I asked and Jack just stripped his top off and he looked at me.
“We’re barely even friends Jack. That shit isn’t happening tonight.” I said seriously and Jack nodded.
“Here some shorts for you to get changed in.” I said and handed Jack some shorts as I grabbed my bottoms I sleep in and went to the bathroom to get changed and have some more alcohol to help me sleep and keep the nightmares at bay which knowing my luck won’t actually happen but normally when I drink the nightmares don’t happen so I’m hoping for a decent nights sleep.
“You okay in there Alex?” Jack asked his caring side slowly showing through.
“Yeah. Just get into bed I’ll have any side.” I said as I pulled my top off and looked at the ugly scars which covered my body and I turned round so my back was to the mirror and I put my bottoms on quickly and I walked back out to the bedroom where Jack made himself comfy on the other side of the bed.
“I guessed you sleep on this side of the bed since that side was all messed up.” Jack said as he watched me walk over and climb into bed where I pulled the covers right over my body so he wouldn’t stare.
“I’ll warn you, I’m like a personal heater so it could get really hot under the covers.” Jack said and I smiled as I rolled onto my side and looked at him.
“It’s fine, beats being cold all the time anyway.” I yawned and handed Jack the remote for the tv.
“Find something to watch, I’m passing out now.” I said and I fell asleep.

I heard my door open and I knew that it was Brook so I moved over and crashed into Jack who just sighed loudly as he rolled over and wrapped his arm over my waist just as Brooke climbed into bed and rolled over to face me.
“It’s bloody cold.” Brooke whispered as she moved closer to me to warm herself up.
“I’m nice a warm since I’ve been sharing the bed with Jack all night and who happens a morning cuddler.” I said and Brooke smiled.
“How come you’re not cuddling up to Noah?” I asked as I yawned loudly as it was still to early for my liking.
“He left at some point even though I have said to him he can stay but he doesn’t want to. He doesn’t trust you I know that much.” Brooke said.
“And who would trust a crazy royal who has no powers? Not even a wolf would want that.” I said and Jack moved so he was pressed right up to my back.
“I’m sure you have them. You just might be a late bloomer. As for crazy, I don’t believe that for a second.” Brooke said as she moved towards me so I could warm herself up.
“I hope your right.” I said quietly as I let myself fall back asleep again.
When I woke up again I knew Jack was awake and Brooke was still sound asleep.
“Christ my head hurts.” Jack mumbled which made me chuckle and I rolled over to face him.
“The joys of hangovers, got to love them.” I said and Jack looked at and then he looked at Brooke’s arm around my waist.
“Last time I checked it was just me and you in this bed.” Jack said sounding confused which made me chuckle.
“Brooke likes to climb into bed with me and we have cuddles.” I said and Jack smiled a little.
I heard Jack’s stomach rumble loudly which me chuckle.
“Someone hungry?” I asked and Jack nodded.
“Let me get her up and we’ll go and get food.” I said and Jack smiled as I rolled over and poked Brooke who groaned loudly.
“Wake up, we have a hungry wolf on our hands.” I said and Brooke just opened one of her eyes as she looked at me.
“You sort him out, not my responsibility.” Brooke said and I just rolled my eyes and sat up and climbed out of bed and over Jack and I went to put a jumper on and I looked at Jack who was getting out of bed.
“What about her?” Jack asked as he looked a Brooke who was just wearing on of Noah’s tips by the looks of things as it wasn’t my top.
“Leave her, she’s fine and if we wake her up she’ll only be really grumpy with us.” I said and Jack nodded as he walked over and grabbed his hoodie I stole from him and he looked at me.
“Follow me and I’ll take you too the food.” I said and Jack followed me to where we had our food.
“Okay before you walk in, we obviously need blood because you know we are vampires after all so I need to go to the feeder are you going to be okay if I leave you to get food? If anyone comes over just ignore them, if not then I’ll know.” I said and Jack nodded as he headed one way and I went to the feeders and had what I needed to get.
I walked back to the dining area and saw that Jack had shifted into being a wolf.
“What the fuck is going on here?” I asked as I walked up beside Jack who was growling loudly and had his teeth showing.
“Was only trying to talk to the wolf and he got all assy and shifted.” A Moroi said.
“Haven’t you heard that wolves are practically protective over their food, especially if their a alpha which is what Jack is. Christ common sense people.” I said and the Moroi looked at me and they frowned and I looked behind them and saw the packs Alpha and Brooke was stood near him with Noah.
“Well, off you lot fuck then and leave me and Jack alone unless you want Jack to rip your head off.” I said and the Moroi backed off and walked away.
Jack still wasn’t happy about whatever happened.
“Walk with me.” I said softly and Jack looked at me.
“Come for a walk.” I said and Jack growled slightly and I stood in front of him.
“Remember who you are growling at.” I growled back at glared at Jack who after a few seconds submissively bowed his head but he didn’t want to.
“You don’t have to shift, just come for a walk.” I said and Jack turned round and walked off and I looked over my shoulder and noticed the Alpha watching and he started to talk to Brooke and Noah and with that I followed Jack.
I followed Jack until we got to the edge of the school where Jack stood and looked out to the open land beyond the barrier which was keeping us all in.
I stood beside him and looked at him.
I couldn’t help but admire how beautiful Jack was in wolf form.
“We don’t have to talk, but if you do then I’ll listen.” I said and Jack looked at me.
I sat down and looked out to the land and Jack shifted back to human and sat next to me.
“I know I’m annoying and I don’t know when to shut my trap but I’m not really not that bad.” I said and Jack chuckled slightly.
“I was just about ready to bloody kill you when we found you.” Jack said and I chuckled as I looked at him.
“I have been on my own for 11 months and I didn’t have anyone but myself to anyone so it was nice to annoy someone else for a change.” I said and Jack smiled.
“What happened at the dining area?” I asked softly.
“Someone just wouldn’t leave me alone and then they touched me after I gave them a warning growl but they didn’t listen and I just snapped and changed.” Jack said as he looked down.
“I will apologize for him. It’s not really fair that you shifted in the middle of our dining area because someone was too much of a cunt.” I said and Jack looked at me.
“You don’t really have to that.” Jack said and I shrugged my shoulders.
“Everyone respects me anyway, so it’s not really that much trouble.” I said as I looked out to the land behind the barrier.
“The eldest of your kind gets given the title of prince or princess. You had a brother and he was older than you so how come he has got that title?” Jack asked and I sighed and looked down.
“My family was killed in a car crash 2 years ago. I was the only one who survived. That’s why I have the title and why I have more people keeping an eye on me because I’m the last person with my bloodline.” I said quietly and I stood up.
“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to upset you.” Jack said as he stood up as well.
“You didn’t upset me. It’s just hard to talk about it especially everyone expects me to be like Freddie but I’m nothing like Freddie.” I said and Jack smiled slightly at me.
“I know that feeling, my sister was the alpha of this pack before William came.” Jack said and he looked down as if he had lost someone.
“Your sister got killed didn’t she?” I asked and Jack looked at me.
“How do you know that?” Jack asked confused and I shrugged my shoulders.
“I did my homework.” I said and Jack chuckled.
“And I know for a fact you don’t do homework and you always manage to talk yourself out of it.” Jack said and I smiled.
I heard a twig snap and so did Jack which made him growl as I saw his normal brown eyes turn red.
A wolf showed up which had blue eyes so it was either Oscar or Tate.
“What do you want Tate.” Jack growled and Tate stayed focused on me.
“Answer me.” Jack growled in a serious way which made me look at Jack.
“William wants you back and the prince returned back to his dorm.” Tate said his eyes not moving from me.
“I’ll return him to his dorm and then I’ll be back.” Jack said seriously.
“You don’t trust me Jacky?” Tate said in a sly way.
There was no way this guy was going to walk me back to my dorm, he would probably kill me before I got to the dorms.
“I don’t trust you. Now go back to the pack and I’ll be there once I have walked the prince back to his dorm.” Jack said in a low voice and Tate seemed to of backed of and he walked off.
“Never trust that wolf.” Jack said seriously and I looked at him.
“Wasn’t planning on trusting him. There’s a whole load of bad vibes coming off him.” I said and Jack smiled slightly.
“Better get you back.” Jack said as he looked behind him and he frowned and I looked behind me and I couldn’t see or hear anything but I had this bad feeling.
I looked at Jack who looked at me.
“Something bad is going to happen isn’t it?” I asked and Jack shrugged his shoulders.
“It’s nothing which concerns you.” Jack said and I frowned.
“It does concern me if it has something to do with me.” I said and Jack wasn’t going to speak.
“Let’s get you back.” Jack said and he walked off and I followed him.
We got to my dorm and Jack stopped and turned round and looked at me.
“Whatever you do you don’t leave your dorm.” Jack said seriously.
“Tell me what is happening Jack.” I said and Jack shook his head.
“I can’t tell you anything.” Jack said and I sighed and gave up trying to get an answer from him.
“Well Whatever happens, I hope you and your pack stay safe.” I said and Jack smiled at me.
“I hope so too.” Jack said quietly and he turned round and shifted into being a wolf and I watched him trot off.
